There are many words that are similar, I've heard Oromos use ilma/children, amount/meqo, their word for birth is similar too, idk how its spelt. Good/Ficaan in Af-Maay is Fay and I think its similar in Oromo.Quite a few similarities actually, just slight differences in saying it.
