If they must compete by clan, why not compete based on which clan can raise the most donations for the mosque, do the most charitable deeds through the mosque, or improve and broaden the programs offered by the mosque? Why does the clan competition have to take the basest, most destructive form—loud, animal-like yelling and upheaval? It's clear to me what is motivating this pathetic dispute of theirs. It has nothing to do with the mosque itself. The lust-filled eyes of these brutes are set upon one thing: the government subsidies for the mosque offered by the atheistic Norwegian state. I had to be held back once when a Djibouti Frenchman said Puntland respects his clan more than my clan and he is only legitimate represention of the whole tribe. Some Puntladers were talking about the Puntland election and I and he were listening and he disrespects my clan for no reason. No one even asked his opinion.
