Because he's handsome, has a sense of humour and is in touch with his culture and deen. Who wouldn't want him?

and @Reiko, who said he was 5'5? I was watching their most recent video and seemed about 5'10 to me.

Why does she giggle around her own brother like a school girl? At any rate, they're a complete bore. 30minute videos talking in circles. He should stick to his regurgitated riddles.

Where did he say that?

I can see it though actually. He has a babyface, yet seems more mature than a guy in his early 20's. So, I figured he was around that age (mid 20's).

He said it in the video, someone asked which of the them was older. He was chocked bc of the question lol.

Yh, I have to agree with you. I just went by his face and thought he was in his early 20s.

Yeah, he def looks young for his age. But I remember him mentioning somewhere that he's the oldest in his family, and I knew even while watching the vid that he was older than her. But all I can say is Masha'Allah, may Allah preserve them. They're a testament to the fact that you can still live in the west and maintain your dhaqan.

Ameen, they seem such a nice family. I love seeing that there are still Somalis who hold onto their deen iyo dhaqan. However, they mentioned that they lived in Hargeisa for some years so that explains it as well... And their language skills are due to it as well, but also because they started to speak Somali at a very young age. Many Somali kids have a hard time picking up on the language nowadays (I was one of them, lol).

Absolutely! Add to the fact that we tend to make fun of those who try to speak af-somali. Alhamdulilah though, I speak good af-somali for someone who has born and raised in the west and has never been to Somalia. For me, it was primarily due to the fact that my parents spoke to us in af-somali at such a young age; they did not make any accommodations lol! So I found it easy to pick up the language and be able to communicate with my ayeeyo, awoowe and other relatives. Kids are like sponges and can learn many diff languages simultaneously. But obviously as with anything, you can improve if you put the time and effort into it. Learning af-somali is no exception.
