Yes, that's exactly why I said dating isn't enough. There's a layer of facade in dating someone that only truly chips away when you eventually live with them. You don't really know them til then. Obviously, that's not gonna work for most religious folk, in which case I would suggest not having children right away. Many of these sob stories come from first marrying and then hastily reproducing with practical strangers. It's common for people who date to find that they don't know much about the person until they're living with them. Are you also of the opinion that you have to live together before marriage too?
Oh I see. That's not really a problem except for the sharing the same bed part. You're gonna have to find a guy with some serious disciplineMaking out is still physical/intimate but yea; that along with holding hands, hugs, watching movies together, cuddling, dancing, even sharing the same bed, and other forms of affection that doesn't go too far. By non-platonic, I'm just referring to the connection/chemistry that you'd have for a significant other (which is clearly more than friendship)...a.k.a a "romantic" relationship. The no intercourse part is just due to the celibacy thing.

I agree with courting but after second date at parent's house is a bit extreme especially since we're in the 21st century. But it also prevents people from fornication. I was going to suggest having the parent meet up at 3 months but most people have sex before then so your option is the best!Dating with an intention to marry (also called courting) is okay.
Keep it short, 1-2 dates in public at a fancy restaurant where you both have lots of opportunities to chat about compatibility and future.
Second or third date should be at hers house with her mahram
No touching though
When did you marry?I'm 25
Yes I know that. Try telling these muzzies. They'll get angry with you for thighing aisha...err I mean for talking about it.Did you know Muhammad used to thigh Aisha before he could consummate their marriage? It means a man sticking his appendage inbetween a woman's thighs and humping them until the man does. . .

Make no mistake, the atheist ones are not necessarily any different. Having said that, the most amazing Somali man I ever met was a gaal one. But my mind thinks of him as an exception within an exception. Not a muslim one sister...they aint real men

Lol, the 'sharing the same bed' part is if we're already living together or the relationship reaches a more serious level-- kinda like a sleepover thing or falling asleep while cuddling (nothing more).Oh I see. Lmao...so I'm guessing you're one of the many weak-willed men with limited self-control, eh? Why is discipline so difficult for men??
I'd personally avoid sharing beds if I were you. Accidentally sleeping while cuddling is no big deal, happens all the time.Lol, the 'sharing the same bed' part is if we're already living together or the relationship reaches a more serious level-- kinda like a sleepover thing or falling asleep while cuddling (nothing more).
And haha yh, discipline/character is probably one of the most important things I look for; even more so than personality tbh.
....these days though, I'm starting to think I'm searching for a unicorn.
Hey atleast i'm being honest about it. If you ever get a man who's ok with you telling him no sex during a relationship likely chance that he is cheating on you.Lmao...so I'm guessing you're one of the many weak-willed men with limited self-control, eh? Why is discipline so difficult for men??![]()
There's levels to it ofc but, yes...?You would go that far with a man you won't marry?
You're not all created equal, the same, and its the weakest and most flawed among you that like claim yourselves as the mean number. I've also noticed tons of guys like to clown their betters, but I haven't figured out what the mechanism is there (defense mechanism, jealousy, coping?)Hey atleast i'm being honest about it.
