Greater London is still expensive. It's simply not worth living in London.

With the right skillset catered towards the financial sector you can make a tonne of money in London or greater London if you like driving in shit traffic for longer. London may be expensive but it provides opportunities.

Aside from that the general culture, food and standard of living is enough for me to stay. It's the one city I wouldn't trade.

The job market here is decent, but most of your pay will go towards living costs (rent + transportation).

London is nice, but the wages do not make sense at all for the cost of living.

Minneapolis has a solid job market and low COL, but the winters are even worse than Toronto

It is the NYC of Canada but its pretty safe in the actual downtown core and medium to high income neighborhoods. No one will indiscriminately shoot you in Toronto that's ridiculously rare, it's usually gang related crime in the poorer areas of the city.
