Firstly, mental maturity can’t be measured nor can someone determine when another person is mentally mature. If a person says they are mentally mature, you can’t disprove their claim and so if a 10 year old girl thinks she is mentally mature, then as far as I’m aware, she’s mature.

Secondly, I said the best indication we have to determine when a person becomes of age is puberty, because fertility is a sign of physical maturity. Yes, a 10 year old girl will face difficulties whilst giving birth and may even die, however it’s still possible.

Have you ever met a 9 year old who in your opinion is mature enough to take care of a child and raise a family? Also puberty is a sign of sexual maturity, not physical. Physical development doesn't just refer to wether you can get pregnant or not but also the growth of your body, strengthening of your bones etc. So when you say "yes a 10 year old girl may face difficulties and die" I can't help but Go :faysalwtf:

Lmao, You can’t measure maturity. The concept of maturity is subjective, there isn’t an actual set criteria for what it means to be mature. Therefore, you can’t just simply say a ‘child’ is too immature for marriage. Also, not all 10 year olds who give birth die, so that’s why I used the word ‘may’.

Saying I’m sending little girls to their death bed is not an argument in itself. Many things we do increase the risk of death, yet again we don’t criminalise all of them nor does society look down upon it.
