The real benefit of the Turkish base in Somalia

War isn't destruction, you don't know what you're talking about. Are you a pacifist?

War should only be waged when it is absolutely a must otherwise there are many alternative political, economic and diplomatic options to achieve one's goal. War is a double-edged sword. It is highly risky and once started, you will never know how it will end. Only if you are forced and have no alternative only then you go to war otherwise it is always better to use your brain to come up with a smart solution to the problem at hand than choosing such an uncertain and risky path.

War isn't always risky. There are times where although it isn't an absolute need it is the smart decision.

Even with allegedly certain outcomes it mostly ends bad. Ask America if you don't believe. But for us poor Africans, it is always certain a lose-lose game.

Not really. You have a pessimistic attitude, don't generalize us and brighten up. With American backing the Ogaden War would've been a wrap.

Still duelling on the Ogaden war :ftw9nwa: Anyways, even if Somalia successfully occupied Ogaden, that is not the end of the story. You have to calculate all the long term consequences. In fact the Ogaden war is a good example of how uncertain a war can be. You will never know how it ends, you will never know which international forces will suddenly involve and tip the balance of power. If Bare new that the Ogaden war will end, not as he thought with a great Somalia but a Somalia in civil war for decades, I think he would have had a second thought. We poor Africans should focus on developing and should work at least 16 hours a day to stand on our feet. Only then we can talk about about 8 hours working day and may be the adventure of war. War is not for us.

The turks intend to rebuild the sna for their own gain. They are playing villa somalia like a flute.

they want an strong african ally capable of suppressing sovereign armies. They want to loot africa like the west, Somalia is their ally in this endeavor perhaps libya to.

it is all a long game they are playing. The west has joined the effort with the exemption of a few europeans who hate us like Britain and France. The second ethiopia falls somalia will rise. Even the gulf arabs have joined by creating the red sea council. Everyone in the region knows that somalia is about the return to the block. Hence why Ethiopia’s abbiy want friendly relations with somalia. Many people fail to see this.

Believe it or not the ic has installed N&N to rebuild our state, our debt is being ridden off (it doesn’t matter how).
Name other ssa countries that have recieved the treatment somalia got from the monetary institutions.

The only thing we need to do to get the arms embargo lifted is reconciliation. At this point it doesn’t matter if it is real or not get it done. We can unite some other day in the meantime our neighbors need a refresher course on the Somali National Army. We cannot wait for everyone to come to the table, if you don’t participate change will come forcefully.
Think about it, the saudi oil reserves are almost finished. We have massive untapped oil reserves, since europe smelled oil everyone came back. Seriously did no one notice the sudden influx of european ambassador’s.
You have italy screaming i will help you rebuild your navy. The us is saying i will help you get rid of your debt. The turks have literally their largest embassy located in xamar and is helping rebuild vital infrastructure.

everyone wants a piece.
It all makes sense:ohhh:

To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
@xabashi
Are you drawn to Somalis? Or you just lost your way in life and trying to find validation through engaging with the opposite side?

You've been called names here, but still come back and chat in a mild peaceful way. Why? Are you an Ethiopian intelligence worker tasked with public opinion influencing through social media?

Who put us in this situation though?
