Mixed Somali weddings are only mixed at the end in which she can leave and usually the whole fam and friends are there. Nothing can possibly go down so I find this topic odd. I have women in my fam that wear jilbab and go for a an hour to honor the invite but usually have to leave as Music is haram and they’re strict when it comes to that.
If you’re very strict MashaAllah and conservative then marry someone who is also against Music ect. That will stop them from attending most weddings or they’ll simply stay for a very short while.

It’s actually more common than you might think. Based of those I’ve observed/heard of, it’s setup that way by the brides and grooms themselves. Especially western born/raised Somalis.
