Computer science is trash. Math is good if u can get into a good job u can earn alot of money, but alot of the jobs involve interest so make sure u get the right experience and right job Inshaallah u can earn above £200k

Nope its getting oversaturated now. Getting a good job with a CS is very difficult.
Well, not every Faraax has the luxury of being financially okay, ninyahow. You sound a little out of touch there. I don't blame anybody for going into a field of study mainly for how lucrative it is. We all gotta get our bread and maybe feed the Xaliimo and the little Hodans and Libaans, inshallah.

What are you talking about?
The only part of CS that might be saturated is web development. Even then my sister is a simple web dev and she's getting bombarded with job offers, the ones that into more specialized sectors are in constant demand.
I've almost completed my courses for data analyst and created a linkedin, and already got an offer. And that's in Canada. In the states in even more in demand and with even higher salaries.
Don't get discouraged by a few failed applications or rejections, there are PLENTY of opportunities. My brother in Saudi Arabia, told me he knew this Somali brother who was in cyber security, man worked as a simple consultant barely did any real work and was clearing 30k+ monthly, shit's wild! Don't even get me started with the job sector revolving around blockchain technology, that's even newer and more lucrative!

My father is mashallah a very smart man and educated. He's got 2 masters from one of the top 3 university in Canada, McGill university. However despite his education he never really succeeded in the workforce, collecting diplomas is nice and dandy, but you gotta be able to do something with it.
I'm not saying this to downplay my father's education, thanks to it, he was able to raise 6 kids, and 5 are university graduates and are in the professional market. But for himself, and his personal finances, those degrees didn't take him where he wanted. You gotta take a pragmatic approach to when picking a career path. That's why I heavily regret getting into teaching, wasted 4 years in uni and 3 years teaching, should've went in tech. But it's a lesson learned.

I wanna take a similar detour. I have a small fam business with my Aabo that's somewhat working but I wanna do side hustles for some extra money and better our business prospects with tech skills. How quickly did you acquire skills like programming and the credentials to get jobs with them, saxiib? I need some direction.

But once you climb to mid/senior level it's much more easy to land a job.

That's the path I took, I first took free courses, then join the google course, signed up to npower and it's starting in few weeks, 4 month long program and will get a job thru them. Inshallah the plan is after all of that is done, and I got 6 month to a year experience under my belt, i'm going to the states.

They get internships and jobs far easier than men it's a joke.

So, you'll have a 26-27 year old woman who graduated at 21 and with like half a decade worth of experience chatting shit about how men aren't shit from a senior manager position lol.
Most guys will grind in their 20s not have the same results and then get married to some princess whose never failed in her life. No wonder divorce rates are so high. When a guy enters his late twenties that time is so crucial to putting your foot on the pedal, instead they normally go for the massive liability that's an anchor. Either marry young or marry when you've achieved something simple.

Excellent point Jayden, an unfortunate truth but what some folks need to hear so get ready for my long response, apologies in advance-
As a woman I’ll admit that many of the women I’ve known and met in their 30s who are successful and educated, unfortunately tend to look down on a man who isn’t on the same level as them.
It’s great you worked hard for what you got mashallah, but they look down on a lot of potential great husbands but don’t want them cause they ain’t on the same education or career level as them.
The irony these men with these jobs they look down on, ( truck drivers, or scaffolders ) are making great money and would love to start a family, but these same women complaining about not being married don’t want them.
Most of my uncles have told me that it’s not that they don’t want a educated woman, it’s just that these types tend to look down on them and belittle them and become very masculine in the relationship and overall marriage.
Also they would rather have a daycare or baby raise their kids.
Alot of the career ladies I do know who are married with children, went back to work immediately after their births and tell me how their husbands would rather they stayed at home to raise the children.
So I do think that’s also something that needs to be addressed prior to having children and getting married is that how will the career work while raising the children.
It’s super haasid to say but the sad truth is the men they want, that have those qualities are very few in between ( considering age and race and what not ) and these same men would rather a girl who will stay at home and raise the kids, not go to work all the time and put their careers in first place and let the daycare take care of them.
They also would ultimately want a woman who’s in good shape, nurturing, cooperative, good deen, and overall very fit to raise the kids. These same “high value men” they want are not looking at these career women the same way the career woman look at them.
Let’s be honest, we ladies bring a man home to our families, and the first thing they ask is “what job he do” and “how much money he making”.
Whereas men bring women to their families or friends the first thing they ask is “how she look like ?” Not “damn what a beautiful masters degrees they have !”
And before anyone says I must not be educated to say this about the career women, I’ve completed my studies alhamdulliah, and got a good education for myself.
This is just what my abo and many older male relatives have told me who have successful marriages and I ask them about advice.
They said that most men don’t care about a woman making six figures, they would instead focus on the fact that whether you are kind , smart, religious, and attractive and will be a good mother.
Most men love a smart woman, it’s just they don’t want one who will use their education to make themselves better than them.
