The reason the farmaajo/kheyre administration is appealing to me is becoz neither of them has qabil interests be it farmaajo for darood or even marexaan or kheyre hawiye or murursade.... they have shown commitment to try and pull a country from a dark place to a shinning state.

The Kacaan isn't returning bro. The country is federal now. That's a bygone era. It was the golden age for sure. But now every region wants to develop. Which in my opinion is good. Which will alleviate poverty. Where I disagree with regionalists is the fact that foreign countries dictate the policies of the states. That's where I draw the line. To solve the current political disagreements. I propose a new capital. Like Brazil built theirs. But Somalia always thrived as city states if you look at our history such as Adal, Ifat, Geledi, and Ajuraan. I'm a MX saying this, FYI. I believe clan states was the answer to the civil war, it was means to survive. However I do not believe independent states can ever compete with a unified government in 2020. What is the point if local governments can not create jobs? build roads, factories, improve education system, prevent local militias always fighting?. They need help and Strong SFG is the answer
Well both farmaajo and Kheyre were elected because of their qabiil.. And of course they represent qabiil but what you like about farmaajo is probably his kacaan ambitions.. As I said Somalia has been through an ugly civil war and no one trusts each other even if you your intentions are good it won't work.. What we need is federal states if we cannot agree on federalism then we need to form mini independent states like the uae, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar.
That army is long gone thanks to Ethiopia Somali war, we were crushed like small bugs by the soviet union, now 30 years and a civil war later we are still losing. You see this is why I support PIM I'm tired of all the Somali drama, as an independent Puntland state we can atleast move on and develop our own state in a peaceful manner without being tight up to a dead Somali nation.
I would say the best model for Somalis would be the scandinavian model parliamentary democracy with devolved functions and it should be a proportionate systemCentralization isn't returning. Having the center dictating international agreements and representation is smart and what everybody else is doing. What do you propose? The Siad Barre style central power isn't returning. Having centralized federalism like the US with clear constitutional limits on the centre and periphery is what we need. A Supreme Court that babysits either side as well. But what was inherited by Farmaajo from his predecessors is client states of the TPLF and Kenya. He has to assert the centre's power ofc. But after that he has to set the ground rules. Period. Confederation is for those who can't win in Xamar, the current capital.
