Will the tribal fiefdoms achieve a fraction of this?

That army is long gone thanks to Ethiopia Somali war, we were crushed like small bugs by the soviet union, now 30 years and a civil war later we are still losing. You see this is why I support PIM I'm tired of all the Somali drama, as an independent Puntland state we can atleast move on and develop our own state in a peaceful manner without being tight up to a dead Somali nation.
And in 30 years how much have you developed lol

I’m not a fortune teller but I can guarantee you one thing you will die when puntland is the way you see it like you dad and his dad did and most certainly your son and his son will see no difference

Well we can't really develop when we are part of a failed state can we? It's not like we are an independent nation, that's why I wrote tight up.. Anyway as Puntlanders we've tried our best to get the Somali nation back on its feets we sent some of our fineste soldiers to muqdisho with Abdullah yusuf aun who laid the ground for the current Somali government and what thanks did we get?

Well, PL is less than 30 years old, and like Abdisamad3 said we'll never move forward as long as we're tied to failed state of south Somalia. And I applaud PL for what it has achieved in 20 years given the little resources it has received and the countless challenges it has over come. Now i believe Puntland can reach its fullest potential as an independent nation when it is no longer part of failed state of south Somalia.

We should have never wasted our blood and treasure trying to fix other people's house. Especially a group of people who have always been hostile to us.

If the tribal fiefdoms are better and can produce all that? Then why are the people dying of hunger and depend on US aid and other ngo’s lol

yes there is no dictatorship today but there is something worse than it incompetent fiefdoms :umad:
Salaam walaal. It will take somalia to get back on his feet and avoid wars to reach that stage of development it's happening year by year.

The government needs to find ways to reduce energy costs so we can industrialise and reduce employment. The Kacaan government did recieve help with the building of those factories too.

There is not dictatorship but, today somalia is more free than ever, apart from al-shabab which has gone into hiding in the south we are more free today than any other point in Somali history.

30 Years it's developed a lot man considering we started from nothing. The capital got back on it's feet maybe in the last 10 years and it's still struggling.

Kacaan was a Totalitarian /Authoritarian regime and its long gone. 30 YEARS later and the clan enclaves are still using the "Kacaan" boogeyman to undermine the FGS. A strong democrat central gov is not in the interest of PL/SL.

A strong FGS means bye-bye to their Lil clan enclaves project. Where they demand the FGS to split all the aid/grants/loans money equally and yet they refuse to pay taxes to the FGS. The funny thing is when Abdullah Yusuf was in office PL didn't have any problem with paying taxes to muqdisho but as soon as he left office they stopped. If WA state decided to stop paying taxes because they don't agree with trump politics... best believe the US army would be in downtown Seattle within hours.

Im just glad a Daarood president is one karbashing Pl and not a hawiya one. Otherwise "Ya darood o " card would've been used.

Who told you PL was paying taxes to FGS during AY administration? PL only provided military strength and never paid no taxes, why would we pour our money into Mogadishu when we need it to build roads, schools and hospital.

We can also demand to receive our share of IC aid since it is for all Somali regions and not just Mogadishu, no more centerlism and building one city, either federalism or nothing, we don't want go back to 1991 and to a single city country.:manny:

Kkkkkk, PL is to strong for Xamar to mess with. They can play against JL, GM, HS, and KG. But not PL. We're too strong for Xamar, son.

If puntland could not build any public school, any public hospital or any any public institution in 22 years what miracle will happen to make it look different with independence?

if you want to know how puntland will look with independence look no further just look at Djibouti.. now it will look 5 grades lower than Djibouti

do you see me bragging about the most basic developing country commodities
You claimed you have better and brighter days than the gone Kacaan but you can’t even substantiate one thing to your claim

yes you don’t even have the most basic thing water in hargeisa while under Kacaan all homes had tapped running water

yes, they have none of these things because the kacaan era screwed up the entire country top to bottom. its worse than any clan enclave.

but yes, still better because now there's no oppressive regime killing people. Now they have the potential for growth is what I said

As an independent nation it will no longer be connected to failed state of south Somalia. And with good leadership and less corruption it can easily reach its fullest potential. Look, without outside help and with little resources Puntland has achieved alot and against the odds. Keep in mind, it is part of a country that is known for being the number one in the world when it comes corruption and failed states.

You’re speaking to me as if I’m not from there and a random stranger from Japan or something kkkk

even with hundred years puntland will not have any significant development trust me.

unless your understanding of development is a person building a hotel in garowe or another one building private home.
