I don't want to butcher the language. If we all started using Somali we'll all start learning bad Somali.
i feel you man. i butcher the dhedig and labood aspects of the language. Its hard to pinpoint the masculine and the feminine words, you have to commit certain words to memory. and thats difficult to do when you rarely use the language.

For Somali media, I prefer it written by native speakers. The diaspora fucks it up too much, even some of the older ones.

My Somali is very good but I still have to concentrate more and that's why I avoid it.

they need to index that shit. its getting annoying. people are writting words with different vowels and shit.

:hmm: "You said write in Somali edo", the rest is lost in translation.

I said: "Forget about Yesterday's and We are in this Morning...."

You got the rest :) You get 50% mark up for your efforts.

Somali is easy. If you grew up around your parents. You may not be able to write perfectly but it will be easy for you to learn with good efforts.

damn. :dead:. you must live in a super rural place.
:mjlol:I suspect he said m something fucked up? But then he called me edo so maybe not.

Does everyone you know know how to write and speak Somali? I rarely get a chance to use it. I go days without speaking a word of it. My spoken Somali is neither here nor there and I can't pronounce some things, but I notice myself starting to try writing it more on here.
