Why do Somalis have such a huge online presence?

I agree with OP, in fact this is what brought me to this site. I have to admit though Somalis are more fun compared to Ethiopians Somalis are literally everywhere and they love to talk and express themselves too often. May be they have much free time, I don't know. If you are bored Somalis are good to kill time. But they need to upgrade their communication skills a bit seriously They come across as aggressive and often say anything that comes to their mind without thinking about the feelings of others. Sometimes they come across like a child. A child would say what he thinks and feels directly in your face. If you are fat, he will ask you why you are fat without thinking about hurting your feeling etc. Sometimes Somalis act just like a child. They say things that clearly hurts people very much even when the person did nothing to them. In my view there is much to learn for Somalis in the mannerism department. But God bless Somalis, when I am bored, I come to Somali forums and find so many interesting and funny stuff.

Somali forums is where a minority of Somalis talk to each other. You don't know the Somali people and completely think different of them when in reality they are nicer than you Habashis and even the Sudanese you praise. Either way, keep believing in your made up delusional bubble.

@Factz I have read so many Somali comments on youtube, twitter even on AA forums, Nigerian forums etc. I like Somalis but I think they sometimes come across as rude. This is of course subjective and personal experience. I mean who would go to a Nigerian forum and start a thread insulting Nigerians as ugly with fake hair etc. In mannerism department, Somalis are from a different world, at least online.

Somalis are literally EVERYWHERE on twitter especially. I was going through KPOP accounts and so many were run by Somali girls, so many prominent BLM SJW’s on twitter are Somali, there are even loads of Somalis in anime twitter.
We are waaaaayyyyy overrepresented on the internet considering there are only a few million of us.
I strongly believe that this is due to a lack of hobbies. MANY somalis, especially somali girls live boring lives so they turn to the internet for escapism. Most Somali girls are expected to be home straight after school/uni and hardly ever go out, which leads to them spending all day on twitter/the internet. They also are not allowed to date etc. This leads to Somalis being very loud and embarrasing on the internet acting like their opinion matters when they can’t even talk back to their dads.

i have to brutally honest how many somalis are in north america and not one is in big sports? majority are ciyaal suuq with nothing going for them theres a somali female in the nba and another somali female making it big in boxing. Ever heard of an asian space man? Music and sporting is nothing, in Somalia there is a large music industry that had survived even after the collapse of the nation, meanwhile asians had stable nations for decades but aren't able to produce something better then africa's music.
