There is really not much of a difference. A lot of people think the reer xamar (cad cad) accent is spoken by all Somalis from there. Which isn't true it sounds different to me too.

What do you call southie. I believe anything south of Galgaduud is where Somali is corrupted. Mudug/Bari/Galgaduud speak the best along with Somaliland. The further south you go the worse Somali gets except xamar
