Thought you were Muslim but that's irrelevant now I guess. For me what I see as key in Islamic economics is the lack of interest, no fiat currency and 0 central banks and speculation. Gold and other things have intrinsic value so inflation is more mild and prohibits infinitely printing toilet paper currency. A welfare system like the Bayt al-Mal funded with a wealth tax ie Zakat. This has 0 to do with God and is a good set of policies imo, all the while not inhibiting the ability to own private property.

Yeah that's what you have in a society with private property rights and wealth accumulation

How did we come about this wealth compared to our ancestors 200 years ago? How do we have more stuff available even though there's 7 billion people in the world today compared to less than 1 billion in 1800?

I'm not 100% anti socialist. Some things must be government directed, but it shouldn't be some utopia.
