Don't you UK Somalis have strong organization that addresses issues like these? It is best to use the system to achieve your goals and fight for your community. In America, bs like these wouldn't fly and Somali kids are given a space for Friday prayer much less mess with their dress.

This is definitely not common in the UK. I've never had this issue in any school or workplace or know anyone that has.
