@Gantaal97 but isn't the license for the three political parties to exist set to expire next year 2022? Maybe it would make sense to automatically give the current 3 a new 10 year license

Political associations won't be opened now as the constitution and the laws are clear new political parties would be registered after presidential elections and Ina Bixi is trying to extended his term with that move and he won't get it.

Actually if he is only interested to extend his term , he can say I am gonna do the guurti elections first and they will give him the extension he wants to bribe him . I think biixi doesn't want extension. He wants to get rid of the opposition who are obviously have the upper hand right now. The only way he can destroy wadani is to open the political associations , many politicians like this move .

Next year in November is the presidential elections and the parties licensee would expire in December and after that elections the new political associations would have to be open for registration doing it now would cause jeopardy and a break to the constitution of Somaliland where the current president is trying to extended his term that's going to end next year.

There's only one elections left and that's the presidential election as the local elections which previously determined the 3 Xisbi Qaran or the 3 main parties has already been held last May

The best thing Musa Bihi can do is open the political parties and hold those elections next year which will postpone the presidential elections by a year


Who in their right mind would want to vote for three pensioners that have paralyzed democratisation in SL since the 2000s.

The dream scenario would be that both Wadani and UCID lose out their political party license to two new parties that represent the country bringing forward policies and full of technocrats opposing the current elitism and corruption/incompetence that is paramount in SL at the moment.

A year later for one of those parties to dethrone Musa in the presidential elections

It's the will of the people to open new political parties and bring forth a new era in 2022

Another 5 years of any of the current political parties is suicide as we won't reap the benefits of the upcoming economic growth that is ahead of us

We don't have a political parties elections and it seems to me you're supporter of Kulmiye party the most corrupt party in the history of Somaliland. There won't be opening of political associations and Bixi and his party should get ready for the presidential election in next year.
