I saw the Smellylanders heavily involved in the PSF thread. Even @Vito Rizutto who can’t speak one word Somali acted like he had ears in the Bosaso streets. Kulaha my sources are telling me

He cannot show me any document where SL had 'democracy' in their charter before PL declared it. Even if he does which is unlikely, PL created democracy in Somalia way back in the 60's. For him to come along and say he is the first one to do this, is absolute garbage.
He also dismissed Puntites have a politcal platform uniting us which is self governance and federalism, he dismissed it as clannism, and then I showed him in 91-98 period, if clannism brings about governance, it would've been seen there. He still repeated the same shit after a huge rebuttal.

@Abdalla this laskar boy @Gantaal97 raised one issue that has some truth to it among a bunch of lies. Similar to how Somalis note down hundreds of villages in a district but only 10% is true, they bury a whole bunch of lie among a 'small' amount of truth. It's well known Somalis do this with everything.
He mentioned PL govt Role and Isimo. It's in our constitution that ISIMO manage conflict be it civil, rural, political. He then cries, why don't u do a Guurti. I replied well our parliament is basically a Gurti as the Isimo elect the MPS. I then told him once the ISIMO lose the power of electing MPS and the mp's start representing the ppl in their districts, we may consult the 'gurti model' and see if it's workable without corrupting the ISIMO reputation which politics will do. The other thing is no puntites want the ISIMO in day-day matters. They prefer how they operate now with limited capacity of selecting mps and conflict resolution.
I told him once the ISIMO are out of the political picture we may adopt a constitutional approach where we let the ISIMO become above the state but not within the 'state organs' as an 'actor' as this will cause isqabqabsi and their reputation ruined. This means we can delegate that ISIMO can dismiss any government if it leads to instability or crisis, the Isimo can provide the ISIMO decree when a party wins as this can limit parties from conflicting, and obviously their natural role of conflict resolution.
I prefer an ISIMO with 'limited duties but duties powerful enough to save us in the event of partisan wars, clan wars, federal/central wars, etc'. He naturally didn't respond like the langaab he is. PL govt and Isimo relationship will be re-defined after multi-party takes away their powers to select mps.
We must be very cautious they are not involved in choosing a party, siyasi, clan as this cud ruin their status like hamar. But at the same time they shud have the power to save us, sack the govt, enforce the party who won, and other safety 'measures' that will be rarely used unless a disaster is emminent.

No bullets involved? nomadic clans in rural area fighting each other isn't on the same 'level' as their leaders duking it out. Higher standards are required of elected official. PL politicians do not shoot each other or fist fight, why ignore that? We may have heated disagreements, clan interests, but it doesn't resort to this human zoo
