Same thing warlords and militias did.

Instead of killing people because they're albino.

USC kidnapped, raped and forced marriage on Barwaani/Cadcad girls for "lightskinned' children.

If that isn't stone-age, savage behaviour, what is??

Savage behaviour is qutie common in war. Ever heard of the Bosnian war? Some of the things the Serbs did to the Bosnians was very similar to that.

So?

It doesn't matter who does it. Savage is savage, being in times of war does not excuse that.
But some people in here pretending that harassment of light-skinned or "albino" is "bantu" is hypocritical.

I guess the USC were also "bantu".

WTF it's not harassment, they're literally eating them.

Yes, savages act savage and rape and rampage, whereas normal people defend and try to not commit war crimes.

You seem to not understand the point i'm making. War brings out the savage nature in people, this is true across the world. But in times of peace and stability people are expected to somewhat civilize.

In my opinion, it looked like shit back then too. And that's Somalis most developed city ever.

Hayaay, why do you say that? Because of the Italians?

Imo, the classical architecture suited the era, it was fit for kings and queens :banderas:

My parents/ grandparents retell stories of how when they went to other countries at the time, locals would be flabbergasted wondering why they would leave literal 'paradise on earth' (old Somalia).

"Dar es Salaam has a problem with slums. According to a United Nations estimate, 70 percent of the city's population lives in informal settlements. The poorer residents crowd into downtown areas or large slums, many without running water or basic services."

Haye, doesen't suprise me. Most African countries have some shiny buildings with the rest of the people living in slums. Somalia will be the same if we continue to let corrupt politicians run things.

A few tall shiny buildings is worth nothing when 70 % of the population don't have basic services like running water and live in overpopulated slums.

I've never understood this third world mentality people have. What is more important is the standard of living.

30s years ago we were running things in Africa, in 30 years time we'll be running things again. In 60yrs we'll be filling America's shoes in the world stage.

I wanted to post some Somali excellence to push against the negativity but all i found were pics of Mo Farah doing that stupid monkey pose.

UREYSO! your hate blinded u to realize how succesful mo farah is.

let me recap for u his feats.
The most successful British track athlete in modern Olympic Games history, he is the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold medallist in both the 5000 m and 10,000 m, and is the second athlete in modern Olympic Games history, after Lasse VirΓ©n , to successfully defend the 5000 m and 10,000 m titles. Farah also completed the 'distance double' at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships in Athletics . He was the second man in history after Kenenisa Bekele, to win long-distance doubles at successive Olympics and World Championships, and the first in history to defend both distance titles in both major global competitions – a feat described as the 'quadruple-double'.

He is the most decorated athlete in British athletics history , with nine global titles, and was the first British athlete to win two gold medals at the same world championships, although Dame Kelly Holmes had achieved the feat at an Olympic Games. His five gold medals at the European Athletics Championships make him the most successful individual athlete in championships history. He has won the European Athlete of the Year award and the British Athletics Writers Association British Athlete of the Year award more than any other athlete, three times and six times respectively.

and if you didnt know already he achieved Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), which is title bestowed by her majesty queen elizabeth. Im sure you can get prison sentences for calling his trademark pose stupid.
