I take inspiration from the story of Kesküla.
An Estonian nationalist who dreamed of razing Saint-Petersburg to the ground, he realized that the only way he - as a member of a tiny and powerless ethnic minority pitted against the hated Empire - would ever accomplish anything "interesting" would be as a hardcore Bolshevik. He subsequently played a central role in transferring German funds to Lenin and de facto financing the October Revolution.
Less than a century later Russia went to hell and became a gangster state while Estonia joined the EU&NATO and became wealthy and liberal.
If Estonians can be Communists to win, we can be Black Swedes in world view. We need a Somali Kesküla
