I hope we don't become lazy fadhi ku dirir types with oil money. It needs injection to create a new economy, based on the 'mind' the mind is an asset that can be passed on generation after generation, that won't be effected by droughts, resource shortage, or any environmental problem. Just dump that money to create educated class that deals with africa's problem as our clientele. Let's take their problems and create something out of it, let them refer to Somalia as the continents human capital not OIL CAPITAL.

The human is long lasting asset and in short supply on the continent. Not bananas or oil. What we do with our money will show u where we can be in 30 years. If we spend it on just maintaining the status quo, we are in big trouble future wise, our kids may not have anything to start from.

You see how they learn the quran? ali wax maleh, ba hos taleh or watever? that's their mindset, they remember rhymes and connect to it. That's the only way they learn quran, what u expect about human knowledges? it needs to be explained in the same fashion. They will be most dominating entrepeneurs the continent has seen in all topics cuz look how we master quran.

Do not bring farmer culture of learning from the west which is INSTRUCTIONS and ORDERS. Identify each key field in the continent with a good return so we dont waste nomads time on something they feel they can gain quicker living miyi lifestyle.

We must limit the policy interference of nations who want to change their mindset and make them like client states and dependent on them, this will cause wars like it has in mid-east. Their independent people. Let them take that shit to farmers who know that culture.

If there is gold, don't sell. Pay for the drilling yourself after u have cash capital from Oil. Use the gold as 'storage' for rainy season, it will last for centuries in-case of an economic downturn or some unforeseeable change. The gold is long-term currency, not short term sales. Do not bother getting anyone to dig it or share it, hire them out once u have the money yourself and pay them for the work and say goodbye and store it away.

If the nation gets rich do not begin a 'welfare' state, make life hard for Somalis, they succeed better in hard environments like deserts, or non western countries where there is no welfare. Only welfare untill they can get up and move on their own, not like sit there forever and just be happy. Humans who are comfortable never move forward.

Do not create an image in the world of fat lazy people waxa ku dhacayo cuduro badan way si bakhtin doonan, ciidaan ma samaysan karan fuley buu noqon doona, aduunka bashaal ma taalo sxb, wax ba loo reeba next generation, not spending money but PASSING ON WEALTH. Cadaanka in yar oo beero bay iska dhaxleen or tartib wax ku dhisteen, similar to african farmers trying the same. It takes centuries that stuff. U have good material wealth in rural to shift into urban class well, just ensure they have a reason to go there in terms of being better option but restrict it and monitor the rural/settler ratio so it's balanced

Illahi sow tu yiri moderation with everything is the key essential to life. Hadi wax iska badisid balaayo ku sugayso. We need a Moderate nation in terms of it's class system, not everyone millionaire, the extra wealth you store away either locally in your nation or in foreign nations, it's up to u. Somalis lack understanding of wax la kaydiyo for rainy days, u give the population just enuff to live but also want to pursue more thru working not hand outs. U cant create a society of minds if their all rich and have no need to do anything. The mind economy is the long lasting asset lagu noolan karo in terms of other commodities.

Ban drugs this is a tactic of war to poison the population so you can't raise up an army in defence because their all addicts. In yar drug hadad siiso wax kasto waa ku samayn ileen addiction ba hayso. Haday wadamo ka imanayso ama qof meel kale ka riixayo hala ogaado xaruntisa, wadankasi ha lagu weeraro druggo inaad iska acuudi billaystan ma aha, qowmkasi way ku tashdeen, adiguna uu tasho.

I guess khat works it ensures their still very desert like and violent. But some drugs make u into a neef jiidka iska yaalo, imagine dalkasi oo dhan sidas noqday looooool waa weerar weeye ma aha wax kale. Amniga ayaa xumanayso, jidka ma mari kartan ileen qof addicted ah wax kama naxo.

They like wax maskaxdooda si dhisayo somalida oo 'awareness' siinayo ileen dhaqanka ayaa sidasi ah, haday arkan adigo meel jiifo waa niin laga adkaday bay uu arkan, hence drug issues shouldnt be an issue in somalia. Nin darbi jiifa oo addicted ah wax khayr uu soo wado aan jirin lol, khasaaro keliya ba ka imadi karo lakin khasaaraha ayaa kala wayn sida amniga iyo waxay tusaale siinaysa umada inayba caadi tahay waxani marka dalka dhan ba noqon karo meel aan loo socon.

The issue of gold is so important for a society that settles down, you need something for rainy days. Gold waa luqad hadlayso 5000 years hada illa mantana mana uu eeka inay luqadasi is badelayso. U see it on the pharoah walls untill today. Hadi manta nabiga dahab ku sin lahaa, wax bay ku goyn lahayd manta oo shacabkasi in any period of time waxad noqonaysa ninka ugu sareeyo shacabka. It's a hanti that has no time period, guri waa burbura loooool. Meeqo cadaan ba dhaxal loogu tagay badiyo iyo guryo oo qiimo manta lahayn? why? dawlada waa gurta looool hadu gurna gurigasi waa finished qimahisa hadusan haysan ilo dhaqaale kale. That's why white ppl have to start from scratch every generation laga reebo in-yar oo dhaxal guri la siiyo oo hada BILOWDAY ma aha wax soo jiray badana tarikhdooda ileen beero bay fadhiyeen iyo beerihi waa laga guuray looooooool

Geelka ilaliya waa luqad hadlayso laftigeeda dhinaca islamka lol. Lakin kayd kale waa loo bahan yahay oo loogu wada hadlo aduunka kale oo dahab ah, gaal iyo muslim waa isku fahma luqadasi. Dahab ganacsi ma gasho, somalida sanduq bay ku hayseen jireen, wax la iibiyo ma aha waa 100 sano laysku halayn karo hadi wax dhacan. Inta kale manta waa ganacsi, waa kor, hos uu aada. Gold is stable at all times, it's not about trading it. Individual sanduq baan haysan jirnay, lakin mid qaran ba loo bahan yahay.

Waxa kor ku socodo keliya cilmiga maskaxda which is short supply. Inta kale waa commodities perishable(agriculture) or non perishable(way isbadele kan). Tan maskaxda waa mid jogta ah oo laysku halayn karo plus if u have sanduq qaran sida loo haysan jiray sanduq shaksi, our future is bright for a long time.

Xitaa gaar ba leh sanduqka dahabka wala kala qaybiya, dhinac dalkaga, dhinac dalal kale, just incase inaysan hal meel ku burburin. Lakin dalka aad gelinayso xaladisa waa inad la socota, haday burbur ku dhow yihin, kala soo baxa dahabka lana carara, dood iyo siyasadisa lama galo, waa dahab sxb.

Or some people buried in the desert areas near the reer miyi lifestyle. Underground chambers ba lagu samaya dhulka hostisa, security culus ayaa la saara, meel ka fog magaloyinka ileen dagaal ba magaalo lagu qaada.

Masajid, boqortoyo, churches, ama meel ay dadka og yihin lama dhigto dahabka. Most of the looted nations waxaa laga soo dhici jiray churchka iyo masajidyada iyo xarumaha boqortoyada oo halkasi lagu kaydin jiray, waxana imanayo cadow, he runs away with the loot.

@DR OSMAN You're right. One of the top priorities is to invest in human capital.

What you said that the government should learn to customize their affairs and systems based on social and cultural behavior of the people for more effectiveness and optimal performance is right on track. Copying other more functional systems but excluding the highly divergent standardized norms in that society which has been a more organic gradual change will result in many ineffective outcomes. The only thing we could completely copy is the attitude towards the theoretical and practical assessment of knowledge.

You write some interesting stuff. And on the point of gold, it is basically the best way to value your currency. A gold-standard economy creates price stability (not inflation), fixed international exchange rates, and it prevents the government from transferring wealth from creditor to debtor.

There are speculated some downsides to it also.

What I mean is store it, so if we lose our economy in 200 years, we just pull it out to buy something else. I am sure it will still be stable commodity, it's lasted 5000 years since the pharoahs, that's a pretty good track record. Notice all the pharoah walls with those african people bringing GOLD. That's stupid or else he must of been WORTH it and they traded knowledge in return and updated our languages with new concepts.

There is no doubt in my mind egypt controlled africa as regions lol and the continent learned heaps from there but I dont think they FOUND IT. Cuz these ppl farmed along the nile yet lived in a desert. Thats two stock of people nomads and farmers. I guess egypt was like our modern day america and we were like the europeans just buying american knowledge off. TRADE. Ideas is worth GOLD SXB, i dont blame them trading it.

PPL are coming to give u gold for nothing they dont trade that unless it's something really important, it's commodity that is stored. But I do notice punt area seems very 'lush' and might not be PUNTLAND at all. They don't have camels at all, which is strange. There must of been ppl shift that happened later on with camel herders coming in. Cuz the camel is the animal of an arab sxb, it's not an african thing, they brought it to the african continent. Noone lived in deserts in africa and all of a sudden we started to live in deserts makes no sense? its like me going back to desert now, its impossible from settler to desert.

This camel riding population took over sxb is the only logical explanations of empty areas that werent utilized by africans. No war with them, they dont like desert environment africans. Maybe due to drought or some war or something populations started migrating away like we do constantly now inside and outside the nation.

Gold is a rare commodity, but common enough to be used. It does not corrode over time (non-reactive to other elements), and humans are attached to how it feels and looks.

It's worth has been perpetuated through the millennia by ancient empires, modern nations, and small places. So you are correct, it will always have value, and will be insurance, something we fall back on when other forms of currencies don't work.
