In my life living here in Texas I have been treated well by all of the Somali ladies I have interacted with.

Most of them in my area know that I just live with my dad so I have always been welcomed into their homes. I never felt out of place.

My neighborhood eedos and ayeeyos have told me multiple times to come to their home if I needed assistance or just needed some food. I'm not even their kids but they still treat me well.
