First brothers and sisters what is of paramount importance in life is anchor and unfortunately for
Us somalis thats whats missing. Knowing that this adopted countries can never replace our source
Of difference, uniqueness and culture, i.e, the mother country we then have no alternative but to reach back and restore that bond and create that anchor from which we can reach out and fulfill
All our potentials of which allah has bestowed aplenty in us. The only other alternative is to transform all our culture and lifestyle to fit in with the ones of our adopted countries, which in
Essence means losing our precious deen.

What’s worse is that some of these Somali guys are fake. They want to be associated with this lifestyle knowing damn well it ain’t in there DNA. They have both parents at home, food on the table, middle class family, access to above average education and want to be associated with that lifestyle because they think it’s “cool”.
