Skin colour "preference" is self-hate disguised.

What’s more interesting is you have these xalimos claiming to be maarin or lightskinned on these online platforms - if that’s the case where are all these dark skinned xaliimos that faraxs are looking down on?

True majority of Somalis are dark but this forum so happens to be filled with light skins and mariins :pachah1:

It's just limbs and head mainly. You'd be shocked just how dark some of those girl's fucking knuckles are sxb.
This is very weird
It defeats the whole purpose if you dont go all the way
Imagine you with them and when they get ready you see their whole torso is a different shade:deadrose:

There are scenarios in which two bleached parents have a kid and they are 15 shades darker :damn: Poor kid wallah the hate they will go through

Bleached skin is disgusting
I remember as a kid one of my edo's I haven't seen in years came to visit.
Disclosure, I was about 10 max 12

As soon as I seen her I :damn::damn::damn::damn: what happened to Edo hoyo?!?
Wallahi the shock on her face, my hoyo telling me to shut up and my abo holding back his laughter, the whole scene was fucked up
And I got the suun afterwards :mjcry:

Being light skin is location dependent. 1 year in the middle east will turn me into a darkskin. I was there recently and came back as a dark skin kang.

Also, light skin is a recessive Somali trait, most Somalis are maariin or dark skinned, don't believe me? Look at images of Somalis back home, it's rare to spot a light skinned Somali.

So, shouldn't we praise maariin? Since that's our dominant skin colour? I heard that originally Somali nomads loved the maariin over all skin tones.

Most Somalis have a reddish brown mariin skin colour naturally. Only a very small percentage have light skin .

The thing is that in Somali families and even siblings you will find a variety of skin colours. So these guys that look down on dark skin hate on their own sisters, aunts, grandmothers etc .

If you go to any big city in Somalia you will notice most young women have a bleached light colour. Tbh I think their own natural brown skin colour looks better. That grey ashy look doesn’t look right.

The guys aren't looking at their sisters, aunts and grandmothers through a sexual lens :whoa:

I think it’s okay if you like a particular skin tone, we all have different preferences. But I’m talking about the guys who are dark themselves and have dark female relatives and yet look down on dark skin or think negatively about darker skin. That means you don’t like a part of yourself .
