Canada, Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, East Coast US and US Pacific territories are threatened by Russian bases and nukes in Eastern Russia.

People forget that Russia and Alaska are practically neighbours and that Russia is still close to Hawaii, Guam, Marshall Islands and other US Pacific interests.
All those bases there, nuclear or conventional are there to threaten the US.
Laakin, you’ve never seen the US cry about them.
Last time i checked there was a massive ocean between eastern russia and the US. Nobody gives a shit about Hawaii or Alaska. That isnt mainland US.
Hawaii has 1.5 million people and the US has a lot of its bases in US Pacific territories like Guam, Marshall Islands etc.
Mainland US is also reachable by ICBM from Eastern Russia.
The Pacific is as crucial to the US as Europe is to Russia. It’s hypocritical for them to talk about US nukes in Europe when they have a shit ton of militarisation in the US’s backyard.

The US has a right to, it got dragged into WWII because they got attacked in Hawaii and had their Pacific territories seized by Japan.
Since then, they’ve been wary.
It’s not the US’s fault that Estonia saw Russia as a bigger threat to them than the US.

Ukraine will probably become another Belarus once Putin has pummeled them into submission and given them the Aleppo treatment. Nonetheless, it is a futile war as Russia with its nuclear arsenal and military prowess would never be seriously at threat from a NATO/EU Ukraine. Like @Periplus stated, and I previously mentioned, mutual assured destruction restrains the Big Powers from engaging in Total War.
