Puntland has highest literacy rate, lowest poverty rate, Garoowe is the cleanest city in Somalia and most well planned. Real hardcore statistics!!! SL gets their own aid to give to those regions, this aid is from the FGS.
It's probably cause Mogadishu knows aid isn't required in Puntland, we are far richer then other Somali clans and far more productive. Maybe aid is given on a basis on how useless clans are and the more useless they are the more aid their given to keep afloat. Who knows what measure they use but yes Puntland is always on the lower end of the begging bowl and that's a good thing not a bad thing bro. I don't want Puntland being a begging bowl state like those other filthy clans.
How does somali see aid distribution? Do you view aid distribution the more you get the better it is? I see it as the more you get in aid the more it indicates your a poor clan who can't manage on yourself. Maybe I see things weird or strange but isn't aid HAND OUTS? It's similar to the system of welfare payments for poor people in the west, the more aid or welfare a certain group of people get indicates their over-all group status is lower then the rest of the nation.

Well we don't even have our best interests at heart as Somalis, it's a bit rich asking for others to look after your interest when you don't. To be quite honest, were just a eyesore and a problem to the world as they don't want to see terrorists over-run the place and disturb not only east africa and western partners but also the critical red-sea transportation link of oil. Were not special and considered a nuance at best.
The proof supporting this is simple. Between 91-2000 and before Islamists, did the world really care about Somalia? Noone interfered as we won't aligned to a global jihadist movement that will disturb a number of nations that are not muslims.
