Magaalada Boosaaso ayaa maanta laga daahfuray wejiga labaad ee dhismaha garoonka diyaaradah Boosaaso.

Daahfurka mashruuca waxaa ka qeybgalay mas’uuliyiin ka tirsan Puntland, kuwo ka socotay shirkadda dhisaysa garoonka iyo qeybo kamid ah bulshada Boosaaso.

Mashruucan oo ay fulinayso shirkad lagu magaaco TISL oo hoostagta CCECC ayaa la sheegay in qeybtiisa 1-aad lagu qaban doono shaqooyinka kala ah.

1. Ballaadhinta dhabada diyaaradaha waxa lagu daridoonaa inta dhisan 800m.

2. Dhismaha wado laami ah oo laba haad ah, taasi oo Garoonka Diyaaradaha Boosaaso ku xirta magaalada 1.7 km².

3. Dhismaha baarkinka gawaarida (Car Parking) oo cabirkiisu dhan yahay 300×250m² oo laba jibaaran (Square).

4. Dhismaha Dayrka Garoonka oo silig adag ah (Fencing Airport) cabirkiisuna dhan yahay 9×4km

5. Dhismaha xarunta Dab-damiska (Fire House Building)

6. Dhismaha Baarkinka Diyaaradaha

Wasaaradda Duulista Hawada iyo Garoomada Dowladda Puntland ayaa maanta daah-furtay dayactir lagu sameynayo garoonka diyaaradaha magaalada Qardho ee xarunta Gobalka Karkaar.

Dayactirka ayaa ka koobnaan doona hagaajinta 2-KM oo kamid ah dhabaha ay diyaaraduhu ku ordaan, iyo silig lagu wareejin doono 10-KM Square oo ah dhulka Garoonka.

Wasiirka Duulista Hawada iyo Garoomada Dowladda Puntland Hon Ilyas Osman Lugatoor, oo daah-furay dayactirka garoonka Qardho ayaa sheegay inay Wasaaradda ka go’an tahay hagaajinta iyo hormarinta garoomada diyaaradaha Puntland, si loo xoojiyo ku xirnaanta Puntland ee Caalamka.

I didnt even know Qardho had an airport. Seems useless to be honest. We need to build more hospitals, universities, dams etc. Having an airport in every city is dumb. We really need to develope our other cities aswell like Carmo, Xafuun, Calula, Eyl etc. Puntland is not just Garowe, Qardho and Bosaso.

Go for it. What’s the P&O of airport contractors ?

We'll go for it, as any of us can travel international to Bosaso, Garowe or Gaalkacyo but it takes you 12 hours by dirt road from Hargeisa to Ceerigaabo.

I think privatization of airports is good for Somalia. at the hand of private business, their growth is going to depend on the growth of city not the politicians and reduces corruption.

Qardho will be an air-strip like Barawe and Dhusomareeb. It will be connected to larger airports of bosaso-galkayo-garowe which will handle international flights. Qardho will handle domestic flight.

Something to know All our big airports are designed for mix use of passenger/cargo. It will also host domestic flights to Qardho or other air-strips in Puntland. Qardho will service the karkaar region as a whole.

Probably the most useless waste of money. Finish the Galdogob to Galkacyo highway and that's enough. This is coming from someone who originates from Galdogob district.

Use that money to pave more roads in Galdogob and build other facilities. We don't need another airport.

PL needs for international flight arrivals to serve tourists, commerce and import / export. Right now, Garowe and Bosaso only have ET airline flights.
