I think SL got a lot of leeway from the IC based on what MSB did to them. This allowed them to rob us for years. The war in Sool woke the IC up

There is less than 20k troops of them and most of them would lose to a qabiil militia, evident by AS killing hundreds of them each year.
Amisom is 100% funded, equipped and trained by the west to babysit the FGS until its âreadyâ to defend itself from AS. Other africans are being used by the west as foot soldiers, Gaalka cad is calling the shots, making it hard to remove as gaalka cad finance all somali governments, including yours. Thankfully they are closing the money tap. 100k troops canât suppress somalis, 20k is nothing and thats what they have learned. Amisom has been sitting on their bases all year and pay ironically AS protection money but that doesnât always work out.
Somalis have fought and killed thousands of amisom troops but on the wrong side. After gaining the goodwill of the somali people by fighting ethiopians in 2006-2009, AS turned on somalis like cowards.

This clan federalism has made sure Somalia is in a constant position of stagnation, progress has been minimal since its inception, politician's bickering over nonsense all because it doesnât serve its âclan interestsâ. In an actual federal republic, there is only one national army, one national federal government which controls all of the nations territory. I agree that the current situation isnât ideal, but the problem lies with the FGS. People here like to act like the FMS and the FGS are equal to one another in this conflict when thatâs not true. The FGS is the one with the ability withhold donor money from the FMS as a tactic to get them to do what it wants. Some states have no choice but to fold while others like PL can fight back. At the end of the day the FGS is the one with the power to unite the country but it doesnât want too do that. Instead it would rather further centralize power in Mogadishu to weaken the FMS
Why is HSM pushing for a controversial Constitutional change while our countryâs borders are at stake? Why is he focusing on this constitutional change while Al Shabaab controls large parts of our country? That just shows you were his priorities lie. He views the relative autonomy that FMS have as a bigger threat to him than either Ethiopia or Al Shabaab

You also have raised some good points, but your argument is a fallacy. This new system we have adopted is federalism correct ? In order for it to work all stake holders have to come to the table. Iâm not in anyway âdefendingâ the FG but they arenât the only ones at fault here. I could also say why havenât the FMS contributed their fair share of taxes to the country, why havenât they contributed troops to the national army, why do they undermine the countryâs national security by doing back door deals with foreign countries / entities, I could go on and on. Have a look at @ggoat statement and tell me Iâm not right in my assessment. Every single president that has been selected goes through this cycle of never ending political stagnation, people switching their political allegiance due to clan affiliation and so on and so forth, nothing getting done in the process. This fiasco has been ongoing for decades and wonât change until proper federalism is implemented and adhered to.
