If Somaliland were to ever get it's independence, I have no doubt the rest of Somalia would enter a Darod hegemony. The way these guys run circles around other southern clans is just too calculating.

I am not a southerner though so it is not really any of my concern how the aid in the south is divided as long as SL gets its fair share

The controversial part is JL. Why does Kismayo and the liberated areas of Gedo deserve to get the second most over the Southwest state? I hope to hear an reasonable explanation from the SFG's recent distribution of aid to its federal member states. @YoungFarah saying it's based on population could be on the money and might be the SFG stance to protect themselves from negative pr by claiming they did this based on the liberated area's population. I mean what can the federal member states do for the population under AS? Absolutely nothing

Puntland makes sense because you can allocate the money to each city and village without disruption from AS. The same cannot be said for the other federal member states who have sizable pressence of AS.
