Dahabshiil started building homes and taking payments in instalments and also give loans for business start ups, Hes da man wallahi
I saw them they’re nice. Dahabshiil doesn’t make majority of its money on remittances anymore. They shot themselves in the foot when it came to getting with the technological times I think world remit will have solid lock with the younger 18-45 age group or so. I think older people will still use dahabshiil
Dahabshiil does banking , they own a stake in the Berbera cement factory. they own real estate (houses, apartments), etc. They own a shopping centers in Hargeisa and Burco and they rent each store out to whoever wants to rent it out. They have dahabshil international bank inside there and also Damal hotel located in the building with a couple restaurants and also the top Dahabshiil executes working from the same building . They also are a licensed Hyundai partner now and they import and sell brand new Hyundai’s in hargeisa .
