It actually is an L that we don't have any good rappers. There are so many Somalis who are wannabe rappers that you would think that at least one of them would have made it. If the reason we didn't have any was because they were all busy with school and work then it would have been a good thing but that's not the case.

Look at French Montana for example more African Americans etc. and other ethnics became more aware of Morocco and Moroccan culture thanks to him repping his heritage. There are even ch*nk rappers. And Chinks will always be viewed as Academics even Indians. Somali image isn't quite good at the moment anyways. Barkhad Abdi, Pirates, Warthorn People, Famine, Autonomous regions etc. it's anarchy. Youth are bound to listen to mainstream music so having a artist to relate to is better than looking up to K-Pop or Madow rappers and wanting to become more like them.

It'd be a lot better to become an ethnic group that's overrepresented in Hugh paying positions and don't f*ck up places this would seriously change our image quite quickly with just more Somali people bring being employed and getting better at all sorts of sectors plus having a educated populace.
