Am I the only one concerned about where the revenue from that oil will end up? I don't know about the other federal states but I don't trust the politicians in the capital. It is well known that a lot of money has been lost to corruption and I can definitely see it happening with the oil.

And how will that ensure that the money goes back to the public? While curbing corruption and seeing progress and growing economy are one of the criteria for receiving funds from the IMF, this has not prevented from other corrupted African countries such as Congo from receiving these funds. And getting the right deal is another issue that I don't trust the government with?

Unrealistic. the world will never move off of oil. There is no other better alternative and since you don't like to read let me educate you on it's literally impossible to move off that quickly. Not to mention how poor countries will still depend on oil imports.
