There is a reason why the American media hasn't adopted football, even despite how universally popular it is . The reason has to do with the limited placement of ads where the ads only occur in half time in comparison to basketball or American football. They have many breaks where you can place ads.Football is 90 mins, where a basketball game is 48 mins, where a basketball game has 4 quarters and two of those quarters are separated by half time. One half of a soccer game is 45 mins keep in mind that there is limited amount of substitutions.
