Habeshas are not taller than Yemenis, so you should call them both midgets.
I have met Habesha Muslims. Nice people. I felt more of a sense of kinship towards them than the Yemenis I have met.

Eritreans are the same race as us. Yemenis have only a few cultural things in common.

same age as me lol you have plenty of time to think about marriage. Personally I would focus on my career spending extra time with family and friends and go all out since you wont have that opporunity ones your married and things that would help when your married e.g perfect my cooking skills I think the perfect age to be married would be 29 for me. Since I'm too childish to even think of marriage now lol and if you somehow in your 30s and feel like older man don't want you which I doubt or your rushing things try looking3for younger men that are 3-5 years younger than you more youthful and better sex life

Amore are u a lil bit anxious that u are nearing that undefeated "wall"?:lolbron:

2019 saxib, most of my older friends have got married at the age of 28 after completing their studies and working for a couple of years.

And guess what? They ended up marrying educated Faraxs who were the same age as them or a little older.

Sometimes, sspot really is in a reality of its own. Look around you, most of the weddings that have been happening in the west in the last couple of years have been Xalimos in their mid to late 20s.

My honest opinion don’t marry a foreign, you can’t control him whereas in a Somali marriage you can complain to his parents if things go wrong. And I apologise for the bbc joke! Wish you all the best in your life and career, your still young remember that don’t rush just chillax!

The thing is the longer u wait to get married and have kids, the harder it is for u to find a guy to wife u up.

Most guys prefer younger females around 16-23.

That is the reality babe :kanyeshrug:

Most 16-23 year olds are not getting married. They are in school focusing on sixthform and then university.

You finish university at 21. So someone who is 23 and normal already has two years of work experience. What are they waiting for? They should have married after graduating, not years after. Unless of course they care more about work than marriage. And they’re fulfilling their desires in a haram way. No guy would be interested in a woman like that.

You have a severe problem with generalization and arrogance. Its a potent mix, that undermines not only your point but general intelligence.

You don't need to insult Somali women as this isn't a bait thread of Somali women vs Men which is all too common on sspot.

Some of your points I agreed with however.

Were did I insult Somali women? has describing their temperament as masculine become an insult?

Every foreigner married to them will tell you they are feminine in appearance but masculine in character, I know a few.

There is nothing wrong with that as I generally prefer women like these who are fierce and of course they are not all like this.

You have exceptions like the Xamar Cad Cad and a large group of Wooqoyi women that have some Arab blood and influence that are also feminine in character of which @sophisticate is a member including her whole tribe.

But exception don't proof the norm, in the majority of cases our women are known for their fierce masculine temperament and it's worse in certain regions like were I come from in Mudug.

I gave you an honest assessment of why it's a bad idea for a Somali women to marry an Arab from a cultural/psychological perspective.

I know Somali's like to hate on other blacks, but if your going to marry out, the closest group in temperament are West African males (none Salafi types).

You always look at the females of the male's race and see how closely they resemble you in character and temperament

As a fierce Somali female, you stay away from all cultures that have submissive docile females, because their males are in general control freaks and tyrants (that's how their women became submissive/docile)

This sadly includes most Ethiopian and Eritreans as well (hardcore pastorialist cushite's aside)

Well too bad for them.

They are wasting their most fertile years on trying to get useless degrees like "Gender Studies" or "African Studies" instead of finding a great guy to marry.

When they hit the wall the will say shit like "B-bbbut wHeRE dID aLl tHe gOoD mEn gO?"

I thought you were being insulting with your assessment of Somali women having masculine personalities. I mean as a woman having masculine qualities isn't exactly flattering.

Also, never knew the Samaroon have arab blood? They are Dir right? Pure original Somalis.

I like to express my opinions because Allah has given me brain and a tongue, I wouldn't allow a man/woman to walk all over me or disrespect me. However, i do not regard that as a masculine temperament. It is merely having dignity and a backbone. All humans male or female should have respect for themselves.

Trust me we have way more common with Yemenis than midget Habeshas. Back in the days before colonialism, most Somalis(especially northerners) would have travelled to Yemen either for trade or on their way to Hajj. We don’t have any relationship with Habeshas, other then the fact that we both live in the west and look semi like each other.
