Why shouldn't he invest in his own country? He didn't even make money in the terrorist haven which is Somalia. He was rich and wealthy well before he went to Somalia. He did you guys a favour and helped you become financially independent so you didn't need to go beg the Kenyans and the world for money every 6 months and restored credibility back to Somalia's frailing reputation. But what does a mooryaan know about economics? All a mooryaan knows is to loot and steal. Dr Beyle is done with the zoo, he is going back to Somaliland anyway.

He’s originally from Borame. Not that hotels provide any value to society given we have a gazillion but you make a defence of ‘he’s giving back’ so surely we can agree it’s better to spend that on educating youths.
Regardless this is clearly corruption at its worst. He stole millions from the budget that is still yet to be accounted for and increased debt by hundreds of millions of the books allegedly.
I’m just providing insight into how corrupt the whole NN was tbh. Couldn’t care less about Beileh whose incompetence risked massive delays to IMF debt relief. We have a much better finance minister (again from Borame).
The FGS receives something to the tune of $600 million dollars per year.
It receives much more in the form of capacity building, projects, contracts etc.
Money supposedly meant for all Somali.
The vast majority of that money - Beeshaa Xamar joogta ayaa si qabali ah u kala qaybsata.
A few random northerners sometimes make money and invest it in their homeland.
I see no reason why Beesha Xamar should be mad about this. Nobody in SL complains or even thinks about the hundreds of millions eaten by them yearly.
Another very important point is - The money flowing through Xamar does not originate from Xamar. It originates from ordinary Europeans and Americans in the form of tax money.

Firstly, Dr Beileh is Samaroon from Gabiley. He was born near Allaybaday. Why shouldn't he invest in Hargeisa? Half of his family are Reer Hargeisa.
He was the one who stopped your uncle Rooble from looting millions from the treasury and then the zoo went after him in the Parliament because he refused them to go anywhere near the money. We know your moryaan lies.

The links between Awdal and the rest of the north took a battering during the civil war.
Over the last 30 years, the relations have massively improved. The process of integration between Reer Awdal and the rest of Sl is accelerating.
Reer Boorama are in Hargeisa in their tens of thousands. They own many businesses in the city.
People like Dr Beile see Hargeisa as their town - Something to be welcomed.
He built schools in Fadhixun, Fardolaguxidh and many other villages in Awdal. He invested more back into Awdal than any other of our Somali politicians to date.
He also brokered the Borama-Djibouti which will run from Borama to Quljeed to Boon to Weeraar to Fafhixun to Fardaha to Laan Cawaale to Saylac to Lawyacado to Djibouti. This deal that's with Ethiopia is the biggest development plan in Awdal's history.

The man is not an island. He has relatives, he has kin.
People ultimately settle in places where they are most comfortable.
