Next level corruption from former finance minister Dualeh Beileh as he opens massive hotel in Hargeisa. Negotiating safe entry

Those peddling the CBB ‘Somalia waa hal, Isaaq waa somalidiid, waxaan u dagaalamayna somalinimo’ crap is Darood, mostly Dhulo. It’s very ironic Beileh the politician they big up is now supporting SL ictiraaf of which they’re getting destroyed for opposing! I’m just pointing out the irony, we can all make light of this surely given how funny it is.

If you notice all the major CBB accounts are obsessed with Laascaanood, crying ‘SL is bombing my family’. It’s quite clear this movement is mostly falastini, I am just here to observe :manny: even MX weren’t this loyal to Farmaajo and his government. Those niggas are in Xamar praising HSM right now for a few meals.

But on your other point, Beileh’s predecessors were non-hawiye and those after him will be as long as 4.5 is there. It’s clear you know little about Somalia’s power sharing and who’s occupied the ministry of Finance for the last two decade.
You dumb mooryaan, majority of Somalis support SSC cause, it's your own fault your yellow eyes is only looking at supposed "Dhulo CBB" accounts which sounds like an obsession more than anything.

Power-sharing? HSM controlled his ministers, who went out sad and ruined Somalis finances and international reputation which was saved by Beileh and Farmajo administration.

You braindead hutu self would not care if a former minister made an investment in Xamar, hypocrite :childplease:

Nice place to live and work if you’re a former NGO worker. A lot of Somali politicians used to work for NGOs and multilateral organisations on a Somalia brief. Hargiesa is the best place to be based given the South security situation

Exactly the Hargeisa to Xamar flights were always booked fully everyday... If people didn't like each other there wouldn't be a flight at all

The most extreme example is former Galmudug president Xaaf who lives in SL and y’all were accused of arresting (not sure it was true) that one time lol

Beileh was a minister under HSM. HSM brought him to politics.

Beileh along with N&N stole more money than any other government has ever. All these guys were supposed to be staunch wadaniyaal, alot of reer Sool were supporting and defending them quite vocally, I always wodered why. Anyways he was a thief and not a sincere wadani, we can all agree he was a rotten calool u shaqeyste.

MashaAllah adeero is back home. Inshallah he can continue building schools and upgrade Geb Secondary into a college and university. What a blessed man. He built schools in the most rural areas in Awdal so that every child can get an education. I hope he continues giving more for our people.

Beileh is one of the only Somali politicians who had wealth prior to joining politics.

Unlike many of your taxi driver politicians, Beileh worked as a director and department head of the African Development Bank.

He managed a budget of $3.5 billion and didn’t steal a penny from it.

He opened many schools from his own pocket prior to joining politics.

But because he opened a hotel, he must be corrupt.

Retarded logic.
Damn @Periplus put you all to shame.

You know what’s interesting about this is there’s not been a public renunciation or anything like the usual controversy back in the day when SL used to ban Somalia politicians from SL. There used to also be a strict rule against Somalia ambassadors working in SL but you see this all the time now. Then there’s all the Xamar business that call SL a region opening their business in SL.

Muse Bihi might’ve just got his cut of the assets Beileh has, I wouldn’t past him being corrupt enough to just want some money. This is going to show all other politicians there’s literally nothing to lose by violating SL’s sovereignty.

This is pure nonsense, it's slander with 0 proof. Beileh worked in African development bank for 3 decades, he's rich. His first house was in MOG, then ivory coast then Minneapolis then gabiley then hargeisa. These houses are worth more than the hotel here. And he bought the land long ago in 2005.

Some folks who are known for their corruption wish everyone was like them so they won't look so bad. We know who are those Reer baadiye with 0 cents who joined the government and became millionaires overnight. They wish they had the education, experience and personal wealth Dr. beileh has.

Keep in mind he's the guy who came to 0 cents in the treasury and left it with millions and a almost complete debt relief. A feat which is impossible if he was a hungry corrupt person like others.

That's true. I don't even know what to make of the lack of reactions myself. Seems the people are far more concerned about the situation in Laaska or they've gone completely oblivious since its a common thing now.

What assets :heh:

Bixi is already rich off robbing old Ayeeyos homes/land in Hargeisa. I don't think he took any cuts of "assets" from Beyle. Ina Samatar who's not known for being wealthy or managing finance for that matter was welcomed back years ago by Bixi too

Hargeisa or Gabiley?

Do samaroon get any positions in Gabiley? I know you guys live there
The latter and we used to get positions there before our land in Gabiley district was added to Awdal.

We accounted for a significant portion of the old Gabiley district like 1/3 of the total land area. The Gov allowed us to annex our part of the old district and add it to Awdal.

Still the remaining remaining Samaroon still field candidates and try to get positions there. In the 2021 elections they amassed 5k votes but lost due to disunity/distrust of the subclans. Those 5k votes would've got us like 2 or 3 successful positions there whilst in the Eastern regions they would get you 4 or 5. Disunity/distrust and the hot nature of the politics in the Western regions cost us.

This is one of our sizeable towns in the old Gabiley district and now apart of Awdal although the map has not been updated. It's a mining town and is closer to Hargeisa than it is to Borama.

It was around 2008 and 2009 when the shift happened. When SL was being rebuilt after the civil war, the agreed upon framework was to get rid of the old Somalia regional model and recreate the 6 former districts of the British Protectorate according to their original land mass and respective borders. Because the British created most of these districts essentially as clan regions, there was still a significant portion of Samaroon territories that remained in Maroodi Jeex under the old Gabiley district such as Cali Xaydh, Garbohaadley, Xamarta Oogeed, Cadmadooni, and others. The agreed upon framework was to add the vast majority of the Samaroon territory that was under the old Gabiley district to the Baki district in Awdal aside from Garbohaadley which was put under the Borama district.

It worked well for all parties involved. The new Gabiley district is now essentially almost a HA exclusive district and the vast majority of our towns and villages that was previously in Gabiley is now part of Awdal.

Interesting. Yup it was a win for all parties. I don't like how the Government have decided to not update the map though. It confuses people.

Despite not getting representation in Gabiley this time around, we still have a sizable population with real estate, farms, and businesses there. It'll do us good to maintain our population there for futures sake.

Also, the political issue of the locked 6 villages of Eastern Lughaya and with the road from Borama to Baki nearing completion. We will be push to get more representation elsewhere. The Samaroon (Reer Nuur & Reer Maxamed) of Borama and Baki districts should set their sights on Gabiley and Lughaya representation in the next Local district elections. They should leave Borama to the other subs and don't have any other competition in Baki anyway. They should either back up the Baha Samaroon candidates in Gabiley or the Bahabar Muuse/Mahad Case in Lughaya or compete in those places themselves. Most likely they'd do the latter due to their big voter bases
