NCC Announces 1 Man 1 Vote And Extensions For FMS Presidents

Lindsey Graham Sore Loser GIF by GIPHY News

Seriously though, I don't get it. Centralization agenda is a bust. It's over, starting fires everywhere isn't going to help your cause just delay the solution.
For the last year, You were pushing this centralization project in hopes that the FGS takes control over PL giving your a free hand to reclaim Sool. Now the FGS is putting voting stations in Guumeys 20km from Oog loooool

I don't agree with federal fugazi if a competent central project is availble but it isn't. I think SL has an interest in a stable Somalia. Complete balkanization is not ideal.

FGS can put up this fly by night stuff SL will tear it down again. We've done it once we will do it again. They will never have anything permenant in SL borders.

The tweet saying preparations underway already in Gedo. Basically trying to force Madobe out by saying seat of power in jubbaland now Gedo. this will set stage for madobe vs HSM part 2 . Lets see how far HSM willing to go. Good chance West, Kenya, and Ethiopia will put foot down if he steps out to far and ensure Madobe stays in power. I think HSM screwed but we will see

  • June 2025: Local council elections are planned, initiating the move toward direct electoral participation.
  • September 2025: Elections for federal parliament members, state legislators, and state presidents are scheduled, culminating in the establishment of a multiparty system.
Madobe was already ‘re-elected’ months ago. There is no going back on that now. That fiasco in Ras Kambooni was the final straw. The rest is just a dead-cat bounce at most.

You are jumping the gun. Of course Madobe would do this since he’s got an opening to force Culusow to accept his election. Let’s see if Culusow accepts him as president of JL. If he does he looks like a munaafaq for all the people he murdered just to accept this meekly.
@Devilsadvocate As I predicted here, Culusow invited all states except JL and Madoobe. I was right as usual. He will eventually be forced to accept him but by that time it won’t really make any difference because he will be forced to accept everything just like Failmaajo anyway.

HSM is using sham elections to violate Somaliland's soveriegnty is just an act of spite at this point.

I don't see the long term aim here. He's trying to burn down federalism but he has nothing to replace it with as the FGS is suffering sustained setbacks in every domain. It's like he's executing a plan that was made for different set of conditions. He should be looking to stablize what is there. The centralization agenda took a tremendous hit with the loss of international support.

HSM is just a sore loser
To be fair SL is not a sovereign nation.. No country has so far recognized SL as a sovereign nation.. Why Qoslaye thinks he controls you.

Qoslaye was told he runs Somaliland by the IC. That's how it goes. They built a government for him and his hawiye looters/warlords and said your interests are the permenant interests of the FGS. They said there is One-SOmalia and built all the institutions for him. They gave him billions in funding, no matter how much he stole they gave him more hoping it would produce a governmetn that controls security. Anytime Somaliland wanted to deal with the outside they would say go through Mogadishu, anytime someone wanted to deal with Somaliland they would tell them go through Mogadishu.

Tens of billions in funding and complete diplomatic support for more than a decade. It's not Qoslaye its' really the whole system was against us. That system just ended. Qoslaye is using his last strength to give us a firm slap lol.

This is the right idea, and if they followed in 2014 could have saved everyone ten years.

Biggest take away from me. 1m1v full steam ahead HSM wont stop for puntland and jubbaland. the rumous that galmudug and SWS was against SSC seem not to be true as they support but 1m1v and also SSC becoming a state

The other is that they dont recogize current jubbaland administration the way i read it. Seems they will work to find legal one. not sure if that means parralel govt in Gedo or recognizing Madobe if he does certain things

Interestingly Firdhiye is titled ‘Hogaamiye’ whereas the others are all ‘Madaxweyne’
they talk about next steps for SSC. Section 3.7 and 3.8. maybe they will participate in 1m1v in exchange for recognition. Gedo might get same deal. or its all bluff to bring madobe and Deni to table. HSM wont give up seat and working to destory current federal system from 2012
