I could see why Laftagareen & Qoorqoor would agree to it, 'cos both were pushed through the backdoor by Farmaajo, but why would Firdhiye (the only FMS leader with legitimate mandate at the table) agree to this. You know hsm isn't the right guy but a politburo would be incredibly helpful in getting things done and developing quickly since these things require a unified poltical consensus which needs a single minded ruling party

local council elections didnt happen. the next deadline they agreed on was FMS presidential elections in September. Looking like it will be missed as well from what i am seeing. wondering if FMS leaders will get another 1 year extension. Then opens door for HSM also gives himself extension as well

we will see. hard to say a lot of push back still, something similar could happen like in puntland where local elections were done 1m1v but presidential election still was done old way due to massive push back

Oh I've come to the realisation that the presidential election will be indirect of some sort. ( HSM waited too long).
With this milestone I'm confident local and state elections will be 1p1v. And that's progress enough.
