@Armadillo having tantrum because not everyone agrees with him
He said his siblings were the “better students”. I believe him. The norm back home >
I think I would’ve committed a murder if I lived in Somalia and someone did that to my child, I hate child abusers that call themselves “ dugsi maacalin”, nothing good comes out of leaving such a mark on a little kid.

^One old school oday that thinks inflicting pain is the way :bell:

Pain makes a boy strong, life is full of pain, and this world is hell. These days, with the amount of hugging and kisses that little boys get from their parents, its little wonder why theres soo many sissies around.

Child abuse is wrong, period. My parents never laid a finger on me or my siblings because they were educated enough to know that beating your children causes psychological dangers.

In fact, in Islam, it is haram to beat your kids.

In the Hadeeth, the Prophet said: “Do not lift your stick against your wife and children and urge them to fear Allah The Almighty.”[Al-Albaani:Hasan]

The Hadeeth implies one of the great principles of upbringing: the motive behind doing what is right and good should not be fear of the stick and physical punishment; rather, it should be from within, an internal conscience which blames one even for an inappropriate whisper. The Hadeeth implies that punishment should not be physical only; rather, moral chastisement is more useful, comprehensive and lasting.

@Nilotufian The Tweet you have just posted and those macaalins that abused these poor kids are going straight directly to hell. Every action they have commited is completely unislamic. Wallahi, the community need to speak up on this sad issue about dugsi beating their kids. It must be voiced out and stopped.

He said he has marks on his face, he has fake tooth. What kind of mother uses metal rod to beat her kids. I will tell you who, a mentally unstable person who was put on pressure by Somali culture, instead of giving them the help they need, they marry her off and here she is abusing her kids.

I wasn’t raised by abusive parents alxamdullilah so obviously I’m against the abuse this man has endured.

Leave it to Somalis to blame the victim.

I sometimes want to scream F*ck Somali culture.

You people claim Muslim but where’s the sympathy?

He gave the reason why he was beaten. He was beaten because he was bad at school. His siblings were beaten too but they were better students. It was tough love. Now look at him, he didn't finish his school, can't maintain a steady job.

Don't you ever think that our beatings is the same as the child abuse as the whites. Our parents beat us because of something we did, to make sure we don't do that again, cadaans beat their children because of their own frustrations.

The nap after a solid asswhooping is the best nap ever. Only the real ones know.

Slapping/rip of the belt (not hard) is okay and is not child abuse.

This shit is on a whole other level. That is extreme form of child abuse bismillah

We received beatings until we reached a certain age 8-9. We even laugh about it during family gatherings.

It's not meant to be something you have to deal with for the rest of your life.

If she abused him to the point where she caused damage to his face that he can’t look at himself in the mirror, What kind of a mother was she? No loving mother would do that to her child. Just because she birthed him she doesn’t get a pass.
yes she does.

my mom can shoot me if she wants.:manny:

hooyo can do whatever she wants caasiyad yahay.:susp:

as for this guy, i aint gonna judge him, sounds like he had a tough life.

some people are weak and cant handle that kinda upbringing.

Real shit, if this happened to me (which would never happen, my hooyo is an angel), then when I'm like 12-15, it's hands on sight. I'm a fucking man. Put em up. How you still abused when you're a man. I know it sounds sexist, but come the fk on, you're physically stronger. Just go hard in the paint.

A beating with a rod to the point of facial disfiguration is a bit excessive like this, but he should have not told caadan people about it, as it makes the community look like its a normal thing for us
A belt to your backside is painful, but alright,.
You can argue, be angry and even give verbal and cry , but what happens at home, stays at home , but publicly embarrassing your parent, like that guy that @Knowles posted or telling caadan people of your story, is sad and also shameful to all party's involved.
I understand kids can be rebellious, but there are certain boundary's to stay in. HOME issues= HOME issues, not Facebook or Snapchat

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as],
"uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.
