Why don't you hear about Ethiopians going on tahreeb as often as Somalis? Instead, they tahreeb to Somalia. Young people are tahreebing to Somalia for opportunities. Why don't the locals take those jobs for themselves? I just think that the problem in Somalia is that the people are too materialistic. They want an easy lifestyle. They don't want to work hard. I've never seen this anywhere else in other poor countries. In every other poor country, there is no such concept of "lowly jobs" which foreigners take like in Somalia.Somalia is a fourth world country where all your supposed comforts can be taken away from you in the blink of an eye. There is no meaningful future for your or your children in comparison to a Western lifestyle that's superior in almost every way in the long run.
Again, Somalia is a dirt poor country with a tragic economy. I'd imagine business isn't really a thing there beyond a few proto-chaebols and hotels. What sort of a market can you have in a country where the average person lives on less than $2 a day?
