Look at this filith.

Very true. When I visited Addis, practically everyone was some form of mix with Oromo cropping up the most. City of mutts

What a surprise. How the hell could have let this happen? I know Somalis and Habesha don’t like each other but did we allow such a threat to grow in our back garden?

I don't think they will go that route, at least as of now, to avoid stoking tensions. But it will happen in near future, as they already are the majority there. The constitutions even allows it too. The Oromo state has practically border disputes with all of its neighbours. Only God knows what will come out of it. :meleshame:
Harari’s should breed like rabbits if they don’t want their city to be under Oromia. Smuggle them some weapons too to threaten them from taking over. A once proud rich people are being taken over by barbarians. Like how Rome was taken over by mentally-retarded Germanics.

I think they want to change the demographic of the city/region, for it to become a majority Oromo city. Recently did it become mandatory for all residents to learn Oromo at school. I think they claim the city as theirs historically.

It is to be recalled that Adanech Abiebie’s (Addis mayor) administration, with apparent support from radical ethnic Oromo nationalist elements on the regional and federal levels of government structures, attempted to impose Oromia regional state anthem and flag on schools across Addis Ababa which met with resistance from students and teachers.

Nor even us, can enforce a similar language law anywhere in the entire Somali Regional State.:kendrickcry:

It's too late. They are minority in both the city of Harar and the regional state of Harar, and constitute only 12% of their region.

Hararis has suffered the most from Ethiopian Imperialism, to the point of extinction. There are only 25.000 Harari speakers left. In fact, Harari is not even required to be learned in Harar. :farmajoyaab:

The future isn't set in stones and many things could very change. Oromia isn't stable and they have rebel armies and an opposition groups keep in mind the amhara region is no longer keen on friendly relationship with oromia now that the tigray problem have been solved. With all these disputes with their neighbour we might see eventually in the future a coalition made to opposie the oromia admin expansional policy.

I feel bad for them, they are going extinct. Soon we will be documenting the last Harari in Harar.

Oh if you only knew. It's an ethio-semitic thing. Abraha which is by the way a common name in modern day eriteria tried to build a Ka'ba in yemen. Hararis tried to turn harar into a holy place equivalent to mecca and madina. There is even a book about how haile salase tried to replace hajj with an alternative hajj to a dervish mosque in bale.

Hararis aren’t ethio-Semitic. And Somalis played a large role building and maintaining the city for hundreds of years. So it doesn’t have anything to do with Habesha or Oromos historically

That's what Abiy Ahmed is trying to do now. These gaalo never gets tired, in trying to interfere in the faith of muslims. They failed in the past, what makes them think that it will succeed?!!?:lawd:

And now even discouraging muslims from going pilgrimage to Mecca. :mindblown:

I know that they have various origin but all of them speak an ethio-semitic language. Yes somalis are part and parcel and an integral part of the history of harar and hararis knows about this but that was in the past. Today the somali population in harar isn't as large as it use to be. Here is a small part of the history of harar if you're interested.

laillahaillah muhammad rasulullah the apple doesn't fall far from the tree turns out blood is really thicker than water. What is this guys obsession with his self grandeur and messiah syndrome. I initially thought he wasn't sane in the head but now he feels like a lunatic. By the way the still image of him looking like a deranged demon is gold.

Doesn’t Addis belong to Oromo?

It's currently a federally-chartered city, just like Dire Dawa. They do call it Finfinne and it's located in the middle of Oromia, and part of Oromo traditional land. After the creation of ethnic federalism, they were denied at first but later allowed to have the seat of the gov't of Oromia in Addis. But they are a minority there (less than 20%).

Due to the growing size of the local people and development, they tried to expand the city from part of the Oromia region. But did not succeed and instead caused the uprisings in 2015, that swept the country and ultimately lead to the fall of the gov't. The first time an Ethiopian gov't willingly handed over power. So, despite their small size, they are very influential.

Why would they want to restrict Muslims going to hajj? What’s the goal of that? To pacify them from Islam and to become deviant malleable ?

I can imagine this backfiring and creating a khawarij group against the state

Just look back into Ethiopian/Abyssian history. I'm proud to say that my ancestors have fought these people for centuries, for our rights to practice the deen today and thankful for the sacrifices they made. May Allah grant them Jannah. :rejoice:
