Realistically, one big reason I see for them to be, is the imported terrorism from neighboring Somalia, so long as it remains unstable.

They have suffered attacks from Alshabab through the help of Kenyan Somalis. If that ideology remains a fixture, they’re not wrong to be worried.

Somalis, would wipe the floor with Kenyans. Seriously, Nairobi would be burned to the ground within weeks. Only thing that would say them, is the Britain, as there is a massive British military base (the only one in the whole of Africa) in central Kenya.
