If you care about your friend/relative tell her to ask for divorce. You also mentioned her daughter asked who she was talking to and got defensive, kids are smart and if what you’re telling is true and he abuses her then I don’t see how it is a stable environment for kids to grow up around. Your friend/relative sound like a selfish person wlh, you’re clearly justifying her behavior and backing up with crocodile tears. She needs to woman up and stand for her action. If the husband is the problem then they should seek professional help togheter that’s if they’re adults and have brain to think with. Otherwise she got herself a job and can happily join with her side niggis.

What I don’t know is if he has been physically abusive ever since that last occurrence. The reason I said he may kill her, is because a man who dares to hit his vulnerable wife won’t hesitate to kill her.

I totally agree with her. There’s no reason for her to stay in this marriage. She should ask for a divorce and live an honest life may it be with her side nigga or not lol. It is selfish to stay in such a dysfunctional relationship and have it be an example of a relationship between a married couple for your children. They would never go get therapy because they are an older Somali couple, very traditional

However, like I’ve said before in this thread, I’m not going to accuse her of cheating nor will I tell her to get a divorce because she is an ELDER to me. An elder relative many years older than me. She would be offended if I got into her business.

is it zina? mm , zina means adultery and extramarital sex so no but it is emotional cheating for sure.
