hhhhh thats not meaningful word,, more like a noise. in somali it will be qaaq cos 'kh' was not part of the somali vowels till we adopted using those arab words.
remember every word that start with kh is arabic. if we stop using arabic words tomorrow then no one have any use for 'kh'

It's either qaad or jaad in afsomali.
Khat is not Somali, but it's derived from the word qāt of Arabic origin to refer to the stimulant plant known as khat/kat and yeah, not only east Africans/horn chew khat, it includes middle eastern too like Yemen, etc. There is even a khat juice invented by a Yemeni jew living in Israel.:wow:
