I know arabs get racism in Europe but that doesn't mean they aren't white or close to them. Anti arab racism is more religious and cultural, infact christian arabs are treated in a better way noth in the US and Europe. On the other hand whites hate black people only because of race, doesn't matter if they have the same religion or culture as them.
Arab middle Easterns are genetically close to white europeans even though they have some differences. Look at the graph, the middle east/west asia part is right next to the european one, the arabian part is also pretty close with some outliers
I guess the difference between whites and arabs is kinda the same as the difference between different subsaharan, actually it looks like the distance between maasai and bantus is greater than the distance between west asians/arabs and euros.

There doesn't seem to be much difference in appearance between the Muslims and Christians in the Arab world so its strange that they will use that against the Muslims. They all look the same..

The fairest Arabs I've seen are the Syrians. I've seen a few who are blonde and many who are ginger weirdly enough and they were of Sunni Muslim backgrounds.

It's not black and white, you can tell apart habeshas and somalis but some times there are habeshas who can pass as somali and viceversa. It's even harder to tell apart other groups like hararis, afars, somalis and some oromos
