It all began with little compliments, then he did something inappropriate. When I refused to meet him for tea he started making me work extra hours. He would also fire all the good looking guys who talked to me at work out of jealousy.
What!!! :dead1::deadmanny::deadrose::deadosama::deadpeter::damn::damn::damn:

Oh wow, he sounds like he has a lot of pride. Yeah, it might've been better if you left instead, because he didn't take the rejection well at all.

If shes good looking run through bro but like already mentioned if she gets bored with you then in your in some shit. Still tho i wouldnt hesitate if shes bad.

What kind of job do you have? Is it a career or a job to get through school? If it is the latter, sleep with her if she’s hot. This will help you temporarily in your job. You will get to bust a nut and get rewarded for. This is not sustainable, however, and at some point it will blow up in your face (no pun intended). Prepare for that and in the mean time, enjoy.

Okay at least explain the firing part. You said that he fired any man who spoke to you. How the hell would that work
.

It wasn't instant like that, but gradually turning on guys who were too friendly with me. He would find excuses to let them go and claim they weren't progressing.

I dare u to show yourself.
So, I'm a bit confused and would like someone to help clear this up. My manager (woman, mid-30s) has been VERY touchy-feely lately. Escalated just before Christmas, here's a list of her shenanigans with me:

- Whenever she comes over to talk to me, she always touches me. Either places her hand on my lower back or on my arm, and it's always for a second too long.

- If I show her something on my computer screen, she'll come super close to me to check it. Our faces are like mm from touching.

-Always asking about my personal life. I once told her about a slip up I made during a date and she's constantly reminding me of it. Keeps on calling me a player etc.

- Compared me to her bf physically many, many times.

- Showed me a picture of her when she was around my age and asked me if I would date her (I'm not kidding....this is my manager!)

-Here's the big one. We were working together, sitting side by side. I point to a mistake I found on my laptop, she leans in to look over and rest her HAND ON MY THIGH the whole time she was looking (like 30seconds).

Even my coworker has caught on a bit. He asked me why she treats us different. Things like the way she talks to us and the work allocation (she always gives me work I enjoy, most of the time). Lastly, every time we go to lunch together, she pays (maybe once a week).

So guys, help me out here. Am I being groomed? Or is she just particularly friendly with me?

And about the touching, that's something I can't stand (from anyone). But I'm afraid she'll make my work life hell if I tell her to cut it out.
Bro, PERV ALERT!! PERV ALERT!!

What's she's doing is definitely not professional; if it makes you uncomfortable, you need to tell her that she's crossed the line before it escalates any further.

You should also make sure to have a plan B and some kind of proof/witnesses of her inappropriate behavior tho (just in case confronting her ends up going wayward...).

Don’t even think about doing anything with her, that will be the end of your job. Second use the fact that she wants you to your advantage, once you give her what she wants you’ll no longer have that advantage.

HR department is useless and it would be a hassle getting them involved. Honestly, I think this would be as bad as it gets. I don't think there's anyway for her to escalate this and I'm planning on leaving in the next 6months. Plus it's not all that bad, she's fairly attractive. Could've have been much worse (like my previous manager lol)

What's I'm worried about are my coworkers starting to resent me, I kind of sense it building up. She treats me different to them. I get to work on what I like, they don't and usually do the boring, tedious work. I've never stayed late, she's told some of them they have to in the past. And she's pretty dismissive of a few of them. (I once asked her a question which she answered fully. Coworker ask a very similar question and she says it's very basic and to search the internet)

Tell her to back off.
Also, make sure to record every incident. Record it in a notebook and if you can somehow provide evidence for her harassment-do it.
Do not keep your mouth shut bc these corporation dgaf about you. You're another disposable employee, at least make sure your time is pleasant and drama free. Reporting her with evidence will help you immensely imo.
Also, see if your co-workers will back you up.

So, it is not a crisis level. You must leave on good terms though if you want to use your work experience on your resume, so play it nice and civil as you work on your plan of exit.

She seems genuinely attracted to you. It is a problem when it is the boss and you don't like it.

I smashed my college professor and I didn't have to show up for class for the whole semester and she gave me an A for it
All you gotta do is save the pics and messages she sends you and give it to hr if she gets bored with you or if you get bored with her
