Work on your resume. I once read that the average time, recruiters spend reading a resume is 5-7 seconds so make sure your resume is concise,looks professional, and about one page. Have someone else look at it. Also, make sure that every time you apply for a position, you attach a cover letter outlining why you think you’re a good fit for that position. Mention how your skills and experience align with what the position is looking for. For example, you can say something like “ based on the job description, my experience in x, y, z makes me a strong candidate for this position” and you can elaborate on that a little more if you want.
