How often do you think about death?

I love this temporary life to prepare for the permanent life because it is allah who created this physical world which we understand through physics and also created the afterlife with it down physics

I'm scared of death and I'm not scared of death.

I was really shocked when I turned 21 because I didn't expect to live that long. I remember when I was very young and when a doctor tried to prepare my mom in case I did not leave the hospital alive. I remember later when I almost died as a teenager. My best friend died around the age I am now and I think of death a lot.

I do think a lot about death. I think maybe it is what drives me. I am worried about what will happen if I die. Will I be ready? What will be the outcome?

The life of this world is chattels of deception and I hope insha'Allah I am not overly attached to this Dunya. However, I am aware of my sins and of my sinfulness. I do worry as to whether God will forgve me. Therefore, I hope to live a long life and with good deeds and repetenance, that insha'Allah will be hopefully somewhat ready when I am returned to my Creator. God can take me at any time. I want to be brave when I face death but I want God to let me live for a long time insha'Allah so I can hopefully be in a somewhat okay way to meet my Creator. I hope I can go to Mecca first and get my sins erased.

BarakAllahu feek, for your answer. Fear of death is something that drives and motivates me too. I personally need those reminders of the day of judgement and the grave. It keeps me in check and prevents me from sinning. Atleast the major sins, since we all do sin. Fear is actually not a bad thing you know.

We all know Allah Azzawajal is the Most Merciful and it's not good to make yourself go crazy because of fear ofcourse. At the same time I feel like we live in a time where people rely on the Mercy of Allah alone and do not take action themselves.

I never used to think about it until I experienced a couple close deaths. Now I see it regularly through work, and I do think about it, but it’s not so much scary anymore as it is thought-provoking. It can be so many things. There’s so much to it and so little.

most of the time because I constantly make dua to get to jannah al firdaus and ofcourse pray my 5 times a day where I think of afterlife...this keeps me sane and going and even not fear death at all but the state I died.

One day I will be in the grave all alone and there is no turning back. Wallahi it's so scary. Imagine being in the grave and realizing the amount hours and days you have wasted. The amount of Ajr you could have earned and not being able to go back to the dunya.

I know some of you atheists trolls don't believe in the hereafter but doesn't it scare you knowing that there is a possibility that you are wrong. And can't go back to fix it?

Allah will judge everyone differently. There is also those that have never heard of the message of islam and allah will judge these people differently. In the after life, what's gonna be put on the scales isn't whether you were a muslim or not, it's whether you were a good person or not. Your good deeds and bad deeds will be put on the scales of judgement, these i think are the determining factors of whether you will enter paradise or hell (but allah knows best).

Highly unlikely. Can someone who rejects Islam even be "good" in the first place? How many passages are there in the Quran detailing the arrogant and evil ways of mushrikeen and kuffar? Maybe you can say people who have never heard of Islam will be judged separately and may go to heaven. But those people who have heard the message and rejected it (majority of people in the Western world) have very slim chances.

We human were gifted with intellect, we're able to determinant whether something is good or not based on our understand of that certain thing. We all know killing a another human for no absolute reason is a bad thing, based on the fact that he was innocent and that he has not harmed you in no shape or form. We also know that giving a another person something they desperately need (like food, money and house) is something that is considered good (charity). In today's societies, morality has been heavily influenced by abrahamic religions. because of this, you will find a lot of societies sharing the same principle of morality as the islamic one. So in a way, they already got the message of islam and they're already acting upon it's moral values.

At the end of the day, this is all our opinions. It is allah that has the final saying in whether you will enter hellfire or paradise. In allah we trust, to allah we will return. He is the most merciful, and the most forgiving. He is also the only one that knows us better then ourselves. He knows our past, presence and all the possible futures that we could have chosen and the one which we chose.
