How often do you think about death?

Alhamdullilah! death is the best part of existence. No more taxes....no more headache from the wife.....and no more corruption and fatigue. The grave will be infinitely better than this life, since the grave does not discriminate based on background, race or religion and everyone will be once again on equal standing.

Who wouldn't want what would seem to be an eternity of slumber after working hard your whole life in this mad world?
Kulaha slumber, saaxib the qabri ain't no slumber. It will be the first taste of your reckoning. But at the same time the Dunya is not a Home so I understand why leaving the Dunya is form of release.

I think about death every time I am driving down the highway, the split of a second you can loose the control of the vehicle and cross the median and face the inevitable.:bell:

I remember when I was a kid I watched live as this African footballer died during a match. That was the first time I really deeped how easy it is to die and the realities of death.

Yeah i knew a lotta white atheists that despised religion and didn't believe that judgement day would come. I honestly don't know how they will handle the fall from grace. Imagine once being on top of the world like pharaoh and then being naked and chastised after being raised up.

I can imagine trump on that day. "i may or may not have done what you stated"

That's crazyyy. Imagine some people are going to be raised blind because they didn't want to see the haqq. In the all the chaos people running, screaming, nafsi nafsi nafsi and you are blind!!

So scary subhanaAllah. Eventhough some people in this world really deserve the punishment there is something in me that still won't wish the horrors of the day of judgement to anyone.

You cannot think on that which is total. Humans, brains, thoughts: all are subsets of death. Nothingness and oblivion is Absolute Being. Even God can die though He is Death

I've been to some funerals in the past few months & they served as great reminders as to how precious life is & why it's so important to live a fulfilling life.

When the time comes, May Allah(SWT) grant us all Jannah & reunite us with our family, friends e.g.

Alla was it a french footballer. Last year there was this footballer who got a heart attack in middle of the field during a game. So scary, he didn't die but went in a coma. The whole team was crying. I still can't watch it back.

Death Awaits You
When your time is up, just beg mowalkulmeyd (angel of death) to not take your soul. I heard the angel of death in Islam can be sympathetic if you get on your knees and beg him to not kill you.

Trust em there are some scumbags in this world you would wish that upon.

Huh, where did you get that from? There is no point in begging an angel anyway, they obey Allah's orders and can't do nothing.

Just punch him like moses.

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The angel of death was sent to Musa (alaihis salam). When he came, Musa gave him a black eye so he returned to his Lord and said, ‘You sent me to a slave who does not want to die.’ Allah restored his eye and said, ‘Go back and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox and he will live a year for every hair that his hand covers.’ Musa said, ‘O Lord, then what?’ He said, ‘Then death.’ He said, ‘Then let it be now.’” [Bukhari]
