I take back my statement, I just seen a video of Somali boys stabbing someone at a funeral. That place is war zone, do get out as soon as you can
I read about that, did Somalis do that?

I am hereI'm sick of the UK and everything to do with it. The rent, bills and all other expenses drain me and I have barely left. Visiting Somalia is difficult as you barely get a 1 month holiday in a year and I would like to visit my family more often and better if I can live there.
Any suggestions walalayaal

Once you stay there for awhile, you realise that it is a great place many aspects if you have a stable but not necessarily a large income.Great job! Go visit first then Go from there.
I would.love to move if i can except i am broke lol it would be nice to just blend in and not be asked which country am from etc
Ive been to Somalia and I live in the UK and for me, the thing the UK has going for it is income. However, the rent, bills and food and other necessities leave with you little money and exhausted. So backwards. Why would you leave the UK to go to Somali? You hach far more opportunity in the UK. You've put your in a bad position would that change in Somali?

So you want the somali government to rob (tax) somalis back home to lure people who fled back to their country with free shit?Without Government support its almost impossible.
It's up to the Somali government to make incentives for us to return such as building housing and providing us with resources to learn Somali.
Thanks sxb. I'm used to the bad Internet and other stuff and you get used it. For me personally, the downgrade is worth it and not a problem. The only way I know to relocate is to:
1. Find out where you wanna live, since I'm guessing you want to live near relatives start asking them about apartments or houses. Start living with them and when you get enough money move out.
2. Make sure that your job skills are needed in Somalia- i.e engineer, doctor, nurse, accountant, etc. It will make finding a job easier and you're more likely to be given a managerial role sooner than your Somali educated peers.
3. Make sure you have enough money saved up. To do so, work in the UK for a while and when you get enough, move to Somalia. If the UK is too much for you, go to a nation that's on friendly terms with Somalia ( i.e Turkey or Qatar or Djibouti) and work there, once enough $$ is in your account, move to Somalia.
4. Look at what the immigration laws re like in Somalia and the UK. I know that some countries will help immigrants and their children relocate back to their home country, mostly with schooling and other things, but just make sure that you're ok with those terms.
5. I would get ready to experience a HUGE downgrade of living quality- bad internet, little to do apart from work, not being able to get certain things that you'd easily find in the West.
Hope that helps sxb and good luck.
Hope it works outI have found the perfect place to build my own King's Landing in Somaliweyn.
From here I shall first build a holiday home for my family which shall expand into a large estate. Developed and built with REAL ARCHITECTURE, not the laughable childish type. This will be my "royal" land in which I plan to invite all the Imams, Garaads, Ughazs, Boqors and whatever other title men in dirty rags claim, so they can kneel at my feet and pledge allegiance to me.
- A small 20km from a decently sized city and a bit further from a major city.
- It has 3 geographic landmarks similar to the 3 hills of King's Landing.
- It is private land which can be cheaply bought.
- Access to water and food.
- And its in my own clan territory so possible hostilities are greatly reduced.
With all the clans on my side somaliweyn will prosper with a philosopher king
